Oracle Financial: When you run a general ledger report and export to Excel, 75000 lines is the maximum. Why? The latest Excel can accept millions. Does this suggest this software can not pick up the correct Excel version. Also, why there is no drag and drop in query design like Microsoft Access platform to get all SQL programming more simple and easier? Specially, deal with IBM mainframe via Oracle?
I found the solution by saving as CSV file but this one was hidden in "Data File", the plus side, Oracle 10X faster than the old software I used. It is a challenge that other people may not have the expertise to master the beauty of database. It is something Larry may need to take a note if Oracle can have a similar desktop software like Microsoft Access, drag and drop for less than 3 seconds instead of dealing with endless SQL statements. What you see and what you get. The problem with Access is speed and space. I dislike SQL for one reason "disorganized". All tables should be appeared on table section not running around chasing server names.
Congratulations for great products but oracle university courses are very costly not affordable by standalone oracle erp developers like me cannot spend 5000$ to get fusion top class learning this impacts workforce skill upgrade causing customer focus challenging .Larry if u can please share your comments
As an Oracle DBA with over 20 years experience with Oracle Database, I have found it to be a rock solid, highly scalable system. But, in working with our middleware teams, my observation has been that the Fusion Middleware product family has always been fragile and difficult to manage. Cheers, Russ
... 6g seems like a thing 5g end users can't but believe in, just as a real thing that exists, because nobody is so naive as to be an end user who identifies his knowledge of what is staite of the art with what the actual builders, engineers, developers, etc do with their lives. Controversial is the origin of 7g. Larry made a huge mistake in being seduced into believing that his role in 7g was or is one thing, whereas it's not.
