The multiset except distinct has removed 2 as well along with 8.. which means that it first take distinct elements from each collection and then applied minus!!!
@SanjeevVerma32688
@SanjeevVerma32688 Год назад
Incase of except multiset. If we have multiple value in one set and single value in another set in that case also we will get the extra value from first set. But if we used distinct keyword then Oracle will compare the value on distinct set then only we will get the correct dataset.

Hi Siva Sir great videos you are my next superhero for PL/SQL :) One question I was asked in interview few days back... Something like this Table A col1 col2 col3 a 1 2 b 4 5 c 7 8 output should be a b c 1 4 7 2 5 8 Write a query for this ? I have not figured out the solution for this yet , can you please post the solution for this. It will remove my doubts while facing the next interview. Thank you so much for making such 3C'S video's (Clear , Concise & Conceptual).

How collections perform if we try to collect 100k+ numbers??
@SivaAcademy
@SivaAcademy 4 года назад
definitely it will have impact, however, collecting such huge elements in collection is not recommended, instead you can think of some other design to implement.

@@SivaAcademy I started using dbms_scheduler but there is one problem for me with this i.e if any procedure got strucked in between while executing I'm not able to kill the session of dbms_scheduler.Can u explain this with some other methods please??
@SivaAcademy

You can use any programming language you know and call the SQL programmatically from some simple utility, i am preparing two different methods, one using dbms_shedule, and another using third party programming language, i will post the video soon, please stay tuned.

Running jobs can be stopped using the dbms_scheduler.stop_jobprocedure. begin dbms_scheduler.stop_job (job_name => 'your_job_name'); end; / So Siva sir just want to know can we use this package to kill running session.
