You forgot to mention that FLR is faster and cheaper than Chainlink because it is built with XRP infrastructure rather than Ethereum infrastructure, which would make Chainlink slower and more expensive. All FLR has to do is easily undercut LINK out of existence.
Morning Matthew !!! LINK is a coin I missed. But not FLR... I love FLR because it is truly decentralized. FLR also linked by association to XRPL and after adoption and network growth I believe FLR oracle will outgrow LINK. Not to mention the canary in the coal mine to shield FLR..... Songbird.
Glad you liked it Dusty. Flare has great tech, and undeniable passion for decentralization. I am in. But there are some clear advantages LINK has in terms of clear value prop, target market, and marketing leverage. Nice job on $6 LINK. My DCA is around $14!
The main advantages of FLR is decentralised, no 3rd party oracle, reducing costs, speed and scaleablity is greater as a result thus more secure. Far more interoperable solutions for developer who need richer access to d-data. More earning potential for participate builders and users. Thanks Matt
Hi Karl, Agreed that those are great technical advantages for Flare. The challenges are marketing. Chainlink get's leveraged marketing. (e.g. Hedera, Solana, Ethereum all market to devs and then refer those devs to Chainlink). One possible disadvantage is that FLR doesn't appear to have that leverage yet. Flare has to educate Devs on "why you need us". Chainlink found a Starving Market that needs way less educating. (the hotdog stand in front of the bar at 2AM). e.g. L1s must have off chain data. Those L1s know they're starving without external data. Flare probably has more friction ahead because they need to educate Devs on "why build here versus established L1s". I think they can do it, but good to bring to light the challenges!
@@DeFiDivvy Chainlink was minted in 2014 and the FLR token was first minted 10 months ago. Aren't you being somewhat impatient bud? Just saying, this token is moving at lightening speed by all measures.
Great to see you Matthew. This video is helpful. I didn't know how chainlink really worked. I do know it's super expensive to move. Can flare link to chainlink for final, fast, cheap, accurate data. Chainlink used as the baseline and Flare to initiate the data entry recovery from their blocks? Also...Your channel is looking great. Thanks Bud.
Flare, Flare and more Flare.. I honest believe that Flare can over take chain link and get to the price levels of chain link right now.. To me it’s a no brainer.. 😎
@@DeFiDivvy Thanks Matthew, it would have been interesting to see how QNT fits in and whats the dirrerence between QNT and LINK as I see it they both do the same things. However I see QNT as far more better, but Im no expert on the subject.
although very drunk, i bekieve flare wll do alot better than chainlink, only because flare is very new compared to chainlink so theres mch more to gain . aart from hat who knows, crypto can swing one way then the next day you are at a loss, im sorry for my spellings but i genuinly believe in flare, i also believe in apsis, granted it its down so much but im in it ill it zeroes
