Oral Roberts - Circa 1950s. 

I remember the time he was having a tent meeting at the Fairgrounds in San Jose CA. My parents took my little brother Mario for Oral Roberts to lay hands on him. Mario couldn't talk without stuttering . I remember that night when mom took my little brother , stood in line with him. And when Oral Roberts asked my mom about Mario . She told him then he laid hands on him and when he asked God to loosen his touge and the stutter to stop. I remember my little brother talking so clearly , hearing the man of God declare to my mom . Your boy is healed. At the time it really didn't hit me, God used this man of to heal my little brother. He was around 5 and now his 61 and his still healed. Even to day when ever I see or hear Oral Roberts I get emotional because it always takes me back to night. I'll always remember and never forget God's servant . I witnessed and seen personally he is true Man of God. You can say what you want but you can't judge against a real miracle. My little brother Mario is one of those Miracles. I thank God for this man's strong faith and obedience to our Lord Jesus.

I had rheumatic fever and scarlet fever at the same time. I was 4 years old and was dying. My Mother and her twin sister carried me to Brother Oral Robert's tent meeting and he prayed over me. When he touched my forehead, the fever left me and I was totally healed by Jesus. I am now 76 years old and have a strong heart with no murmur, which doctors said if I survived, I would have a murmur and weak heart the rest of my life! PRAISE GOD, I WAS HEALED IN THE NAME OF JESUS! Connie Murphy

The very day the doctors gave him up to die, God instantly and totally healed my father of TB in 1950 in a tent meeting in Atlanta GA when Oral Roberts prayed for him. Dad got up off the stretcher used to bring him into the meeting and testified to being healed. He came home and never was bothered by TB again. Jesus Christ, the same yesterday and today and forever.

My mother was healed in her legs and able to walk by Jesus through Oral Roberts.

My grandmother had an open oozing ulcer on her leg that would not heal for many years. She was healed when Oral Robert’s prayed for her. PRAISE THE LORD!

Oral Roberts was the real deal. In 1977 I attended a 3-day "layman's seminar" at ORU, all expenses paid by ORU. On the last day Oral held a healing service in which he laid hands on each of all 1500 who attended. When he touched me I felt God's power tangibly. In 1980 when my mother was dying of lung cancer we got two letters from Oral. These were not form letters with "auto-pen" signatures; they were specific, personal, HAND SIGNED letters saying Oral was praying for my mother. I still have the letters. During my mother's last hospitalization Oral had his top aide, Mr. Ridenour, phone my mother in the hospital on her birthday and pray with her for 45 minutes. It meant a lot to my mother. She died just 28 days later. NOT EVERYONE GETS HEALED; NO ONE KNOWS WHY. But I tell you--Oral Roberts was the real deal.

I swear at the end as he was praying for us thru the screen i did everything he said to do and as he was praying my body started shaking uncontrollably im not even kidding jesus is the son of the living god

I grew up listening to Oral Roberts and then Richard Roberts. These 2 men are great healers and lovers of the Lord. When i was a senior in high school in 1968, I was blessed to go on a field trip to Oral Roberts University. We went up in the Prayer Tower. I have never felt closer to God than standing there that day at 17 years old. 🙏 ❤

I remember watching Oral Roberts on Sunday morning in the 70’s…love watching the singers as I ate breakfast as a kid

I loved and respected Oral Roberts. I started going to his annual meetings he had at ORU in the 80's and 90"s at the Mabee center and attended for about 9 years. I learned so much about serving the Lord at these meetings, some of the best Bible teachers in the world would come from all around the world to fellowship and teach. I went to Oral's funeral service and it was powerful. He was one of God's modern day prophets. He built around a half a billion dollars in buildings in Tulsa and those buildings are still being used for the glory of God.

Regardless of the plans the enemy had to discredit Oral Roberts and other preachers like A.A. Allen and Billy Graham, Jesus had other plans! And the plans Jesus had for Oral Roberts, A.A. Allen and Billy Graham are equally as good and dear to the Lord. Take this video as a beautiful reminder that the Lord loves you as much as He loves Oral Roberts. No more, no less. And His plans for your life are unique, just like you. ❤️

I saw OR preach live at his university back in the late 70s. My aunt was a student. My mom and grandma drove her from OH to OK for her orientation, and I was along for the ride. I was 7 or 8.

When I was thirteen I was listening to Oral Robert's son album 'My Father's Favorite Songs' and had decided I wanted to go to Oral Roberts University.

Wow, the real guy. His University is huge. I wish I could have that large praying hands statue and have it for myself to keep.❤

O Lord God Almighty, You are the same today, yesterday and forever, and I believe that even Your Power that moved at that meeting can heel me. Heel me now O God, in Jesus name. Amen!

My parents went to one of his tent meetings like this, and they told me that once the cameras were turned off, ending the local broadcast, Oral walked off the stage, leaving all those people waiting in line for prayer. This proved to lots of people what a showman he was, all for the money.

I watched him in the early 60s when, later Jimmy Swaggart would have a dynamic tent meeting. Before money corrupted them. It's hard to stay humble & focused when millions start pouring in.

So fresh, clear, simple and proper. Compare this with modern money grabbers.

Awesome man of God. I was waiting at the end for him to ask for finances to help his ministry.. Guess what... He didn't. True faith, relies on God to provide all their needs. Praise Jesus, He is the same yesterday, today, and forever!

He certainly had the gift of separating ignorant poor people from their dimes and quarters.

Yes, I saw Oral when he first went on TV. A long ago. Sadly, he got into making a LOT of "money"; as most do preachers today. And may Jesus has mercy on them...and all the others...Such a shame.

The Bible doesn’t talk about Legion and his wife coming to him. Just saying. He added a lot to this story.

something that bothers me is the salvation pray did not call them to repentance, and in the healing none go away vocally praising the LORD God. i'm suspect of any healing that does not cause this
