These are the exercises that help babies with Down syndrome develop stronger control over oral abilities like nursing, bottle feeding, eating, and speaking.
So what's the point in this? Like, what's the therapy going on here? Touching the insides of the mouth. Does this help with....... eating? Does a baby with Down Syndrome need to be desensitized in order to eat? Sorry, just not knowledgeable in this and am curious
Oh momma she's beautiful. Hello my lovely beautiful lady. You're so adorable. Such a gift. Look at her. Omg. I can't. She's too much. What an amazing momma she sure loves this little lady. She is beautiful
I started with Teya at 2 months. I'd do this before breastfeeding. She is doing so well now. I HIGHLY recommend getting straw cups for drinking - no bottles! - it really helps to develop oral muscles!
I started when Teya was still nursing. So start as early as possible. Also, do not give your little one bottles if you can help it. Get the straw bear instead. So helpful for developing oral muscles.
