I bet that pie would be really good using the pineapple tang. I use that sometimes when making Mama's spiced tea....a lot like your Russian tea...and it's delicious.

What is Tang, Leslie? It's not something I've seen here in the UK. The only powdered cold drinks we have is Nesquick chocolate or strawberry milk. Love the new kitchen.

Leslie, mash up your vanilla wafers and mix the crumbs with butter and a little sugar. That will make you a great crust for your leftover filling and will be delicious.

Love the video...you are absolutely precious! I love you sense of humor and look forward to every video. This video had me in stitches! I made this today...Sunday foe My Husband. It is in the freezer now. I struck a deal with him to keep him out of it, i gave him the mixing bowl and silicone spatula. I took a small taste and it brought me back to my childhood summers. ORANGE CREAMSICLE was one of my favorite Ice Cream Bars! DELICIOUS!

I bet that same pie could be made with Countrytime Pink Lemonade for another delicious pie. My daughter is expecting and her Shower is Citrus Themed. Her invitations have oranges on them and say A CUTIE IS ON THE WAY. This pie would be perfect for the shower. I had ordered cupcakes but I may see if she wants me to make some of these Creamcicle Pies. Thanks for sharing.

I wanted to let you know that I have made this in orange, lime. strawberry, chocolate and I am going to make banana tomorrow. Letting you know I used lime jello for the lime, used strawberry jello, used chocolate and am going to use banana pudding. You just have to whip the jello and pudding granules so it doesn't settle and get "grainy" in the sour cream and condensed milk mixture. My husband adores them! I think with the banana I am going to put slices of real banana on top of the pie crust, pour mixture over them and when the pie is solid put like a chocolate shell drizzle over the top. A banana split as such! Thank you for this recipe!

It looked like you were eating mandarin or regular orange slices earlier--I thought you were going to decorate the pies with them! If you want to be fancy you could put one (or more) on each slice with a dollop of Cool Whip right before serving. All's well that ends well--glad you could salvage the video. I'm sure your family would hate for you to have to make more of these pies! LOL

Hello, instead of Tang I pureed a large orange and used gelatin as a thickener. DELICIOUS! Tried it with blueberries and strawberries. Those were just as good
