Tbh i know that he was a creep, a pervert, even was a douche bag at times. But what they did to him to protect that dead beat who wound up leaving her high and dry at the end was real messed up. Mendez lost his job and even lost his reputation his character was diminished, but he was the one in the end who stepped up to the plate. He was a good dude and was misunderstood. He wasn’t the villain they made him out to be
Don’t forget he was also a drug dealer who not only used addicts for sexual favours but also caused a girls death and covered it up. Definitely wasn’t a good dude anyway

@estherc.3525 he definitely was a monster, but that is the beauty of this show and of life itself: not everything is black and white. Good people are capable of evil, and evil people are capable of good. Mendez was evil, but having a baby definitely brought out the best in him and changed him for the better. Such is the way and ever changing tapestry of life.

he does. daya told pornstache's mom, and pornstache said he doesn't care and still took care of the baby. at the end of season 7, he was playing drums with daya's daughter using laddles and metal pots. it's so cute. he really fell in love hard.
This dude is a sickening character and terrible person. Anyone saying this SCENE flipped that for them u are mental. He got a girl killed by forcing her to take his drugs he was smuggling and that should be more than enough. Add that to the list of sexual harassment and wrong doings where he was abusing his level of power. Deserved to be locked up.
