I cried over this scene during the second time watching the show. Because i already knew Locke was unlucky person with his sad past. He was the most innocent and lonely one between them.
I wouldn't say innocent, but definitely a guy who just couldn't catch a break, and his exit is fairly depressing, the real locke I mean. To those that know.
@@x-man9473 John Locke was definitely not the villain. Ben was the villain who freed the creature and killed the only man who actually cared about the island at the manipulation of Jacob’s opposite
@@konradsproductionservices There can be more than 1 villain in a show. Villains oppose what the main character(s) want. Locke wanted to stay on the island. While Jack and the majority of the characters wanted to leave. He actively tried to stop them from leaving. That puts him in the villain role.
@@x-man9473 No, antagonists oppose the protagonists, while villains are evil characters. Villains aren't always antagonists, for example Walter White from Breaking Bad. While he is the protagonist, he is still an evil character.
Next time it were a Mango best he's ever had is what he said as John the man in black and the black cloud became one character basically is what's so good about the ending. He goes with em to the church too and only Sun can tell who he was until Jin convinced her he was good old locke lol loose ends. I remember ever scene which John makes the role what it is almost reminds me of Biden in some way. Which I suppose makes the new president more interesting to me however he doesn't outbid Terry O'quinn the lost keyboard player of Pink Floyd who has nothing to do with the historical John Locke who was a dick face just look at him lord prick face bastard.. the show made the name in my opinion. Having the reflection to John the Baptist who lost his head for judging a married couple. John Locke knew how everybody judged him without knowing the entire truth about his journey people fail to give him credit most importantly Jack the good shepherd who diagnosed John from an ill perspective is what makes the show so good for what the power of believe and suggestion can be applied only so much until the end is made still a mystery that really hasn't ended.

This was, ironically, one of the happiest times of his life. He could walk again after years of being in a wheelchair. Imagine how jubilant you would be if that were you.
@@scorpionkobra tbh it was the perfect setup for his backstory because he seemed like a dodgy guy and I thought he’d be a villain, but then episode 4 hit and I was crying for him.
It makes me think of that, too. Hell, when this show was airing I thought Locke's actor Terry O'Quinn would have been great as Marlon Brando's character in Apocalypse Now in a hypothetical remake.
He was sucking the Vitamin C for all it was worth out of the damn orange because he was always on the look out for ways he could only help and rely on himself for now with only one kidney. Guess what, it's better to work with both of them people.
If you just crashed on a deserted island and had to take the shoes off a dead man for yourself and then some creepy old dude looked over at you and smiled with an orange peel in his mouth would you not be disturbed?
