The ultimate orange pie: fluffy, syrupy, quick and full of flavor.
It is very easy and the end result is simply perfect.
Recipe ingredients
250 gr. Granulated sugar
4 eggs
200 gr. Natural Orange Juice
200 gr. Yoghurt
150 gr. Sunflower oil
150 gr. Flour, o.s.
150 gr. Coarse semolina
150 gr. Fine semolina
20 gr. Baking powder
2 vanilla
Zest from 2 Oranges
6 Orange Slices
Ingredients for the Syrup
400 gr. Granulated sugar
250 gr. Natural Orange Juice
250 gr. Water
1 tbsp Honey
Peels from 1 Orange
Execute recipe
Put 4 eggs in a large bowl
250 gr. Granulated sugar
Beat with a hand mixer for 3-4 minutes on high
speed, so that the cream becomes thick
Add to the bowl
150 gr. Sunflower oil
200 gr. Natural Orange Juice
200 gr. Yoghurt
150 gr. Flour, o.s.
150 gr. Coarse semolina
150 gr. Fine semolina
20 gr. Baking powder
2 vanilla
Zest from 2 Oranges
When we pour all the ingredients, beat with the mixer for about 1 minute
Grease a 30X35 cm pan.
Empty the mixture, and let it stand for 5 minutes for the semolina to rise
Garnish with 6 slices of orange
bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 35-40 minutes
Pour the cold syrup into the hot orange pie
Leave the dessert for 1 hour to cool, until it absorbs all the syrup
Cut carefully into pieces and serve
For the syrup
Put 250 gr. water
250 gr. Natural Orange Juice
400 gr. Granulated sugar
1 tbsp Honey
Peels from 1 Orange
Stir over medium heat to dissolve the sugar
From the time it boils, count 5 minutes
