I got one and I really like it. Sometimes I just hook it up to the front of the amp and just use the boost side of the pedal. Both the Wolf and the Tree sound good in their own ways.
@@MaxPowersTastyTones I got a Direwolf at home, and it sounds awesome in front of a PRS MT15. The 3 clipping modes give some variation of flavor, but the stock Wolf on the Fire and Sword sounds pretty good.
yeah man! boosted it has to be for me, then that thing comes strong, both boosts are great in my opinion...but without, there is some compression missing in my ears
yeah th at should vbe possible 😎 Would have been interesting to hear through different poweramps though XD What I like on this pedal solutions is the Powerstage from Seymour D. because of its very clean Signal. Since on my Lunchbox amps the Poweramp is not that nice for preamps the Sigil tends to really distort the poweramp for example and does not like pedals. Did you try different poweramps? Would be interesting how much of a differencve it makes😏@@MaxPowersTastyTones
@@jonnyf9049 I tried it through my Earforce Two with two KT88s which sounded great as well. Haven’t tried the Seymour Duncan yet. I assume they would not be loud enough for a band right?
I’m going to take this opportunity to jump in here. I really want this pedal so mainly directed at high wind amps to respond. I use a blackstar amped 1. Will this work good in the fx return if I use it in linea mode??
