Landbou! Ons naam, “Boere” kom van ons landbou-geskiedenis. Afrikaners is, inherent landbouers en mense wat lief is vir die Skepping.
Ook in die Bybel kry ons die opdrag “Bewoon, bewerk, bewaar.”

Also in the Bible we get the command "Inhabit, cultivate, preserve."

Foeitog. Tog neem jy tyd uit jou besige skedule om hier te kom kla en kerm. Beweeg verby as dit jou pla. Orania het baie ondersteuners in die buiteland wat ook graag die program wil kyk en Orania beter verstaan maar ek besef jou wêreld is klein.

Why don't you open Orania to displaced Afrikaners and absorb them in absorption centers to screen and equip them with the necessary training for agriculture to enhance your agriculture economy. You can invite Israeli agriculture experts to help Orania develop farms in the mould of a kibbutz or moshavs agriculture cooperatives which will help provide agricultural skills and income opportunity not only for the potential newcomers but for Orania as a whole. With the help of agriculture experts from Israel, you can diversify your food crops to include as well date palm, avocados, mangoes and a variety of other agricultural crops while at the same time expanding Orania's Afrikaner population.

Trots om te sien hoe dinge gedoen word deur julle. Het self geboer in die Noordwes. Is al 28 jaar in New Zealand. Baie kan gedoen word deur self te doen. Seenwense!

THese people understand the importance of self-reliance, as they do not receive any funding or assistance from the State.. I'd also heard they are not far off from energy independence, through solar and other means, so not to be at the mercy of the failing power grid systems the government has allowed to decay..

Ek is 'n Afrikaner wat in Texas bly. Dit is vir my interessant dat Dr. Ben de Klerk Texas besoek het en toe besluit het om Pecans in Orania te groei. Het hy dalk Seguin, Texas toe gekom? Ek het daar gewoon vir 'n par jaar en ek weet Seguin is bekend vir hulle Pecans.
