This guy's got the cleans of James Hetfield, the growls of Whitechapel, and the face of Spiderman-era Tobey Maguire. This is the metal equivalent of slapping the "randomize" button on character creation and actually getting a decent build.
I work as a school psychologist in Finland and every week I have this relaxation session for students during recess. I play guitar and a colleague gives instructions on how to relax. Last week we only had metal heads so I thought what the fuck, let's skip the usual stuff, let's blast some riffs, and talk metal. I then told the young dudes I would be most DISPLEASED if they did not check out the most amazing metal phenomenon of today and of the future, ORBIT FUCKING CULTURE. In return I promised to check out more Lamb of god, no problem. Bringing the support and exposure to Orbit Culture wherever I fucking can! This band keeps getting better with every release. I am surprised none of the more prominent Scandinavian or Melodic Death labels have signed you guys yet.
It´s not often i get THIS excited..I expect songs to go down the drain as soon as the vocalist starts singing. But this guy..HOLY mother of ass is he good. Gotta be one of the best vocalists i have ever heard. Must be something wrong with the drummer too. Is he a machine? Also insanely good. 10/10 on every aspect.
I met Niklas and the rest of the band at their show in Lawrence this past Wednesday night and they all were super approachable. I told him that I first found them by this song here on RU-vid a couple of years ago and they were just a very friendly bunch of guys. They were hanging out by their merch table for hours after their set just talking to fans, signing shirts and answering any questions. I hope they swing through the states again because I will definitely be there.
@@Megitsune69 it does bands a lot of good to be there to meet and hang out with their fans at shows. If fans feel connected to their favorite bands and feel like they got to begin to know them on an individual level, they'll be even more likely to support the band

These guys are the masters of chugging. There's lots of songs where I've wanted the palm muted riffs to be just a bit longer and these guys have answered my prayers
Finally a modern band , 6 string guitars heavy as hell , thrashy and disgusting , the growls fit the music the cleans are not cringy , the band is on the aggressive and angry side not a bunch of paint wearing demonic posers and you can't not head bang to this , loved it 10/10
@@acefreezy Your comment doesn't make any sense. "No extra lower end string needed for their heaviness." They play in Dropped A. This means they could easily play this song on a 7 string guitar and still have the high strings, because they would only need to tune down the lowest string down a full step. THIS means, if they did play this on a seven string, the rest of the guitar would actually sound more like your oh-so-beloved 6 string, than their 6 strings which are tuned down like crazy. In fact, NOT playing this on a 7 string is a waste of strings. In order for you to be able to play in Dropped A on a six string, you have to tune down 5 half steps. You effectively lose an entire string when it comes to your note range. As soon as you go into Standard B territory on your 6 string, you might as well play on a 7 string and have the advantage of still having your highest string. If you try to shit on extended range guitars, at least make half an ounce of logical sense please.
@@ThorsShadow of course you can play it on a seven string, my point was that they don’t need that seventh string to sound as heavy as a band that uses a 7 string guitar or more, which seems to be a norm nowadays and to some folk a requirement. Go pick up your guitar, you obviously need to release some anger.

Yes they definitely have the potential to be the Christ of metal since their isn't any band in that spot right now but it's a fact that Slipknot are the Kings of Metal and Dimmu Borgir are the Gods of metal and the god of metal is Metallica
This song, north star of nija, strangler, sound of the bell and redfog just show how these guys arent just a generic Groove/MeloDeath band. These guys have a wide range.

Seriously, biggest revelation and discovery for me in YEARS. I just saw them in Prague as a support act for In Flames, and wow... They could easily headline that show. Vocals is somewhat beyond the measurable
I keep finding amazing bands this year. Orbit Culture, Rivers of Nihil, Dyscarnate, Knocked Loose, Kublai Khan, Bemore, and Pyramaze, just to name a few. AND ITS NOT EVEN APRIL YET. HA.
Listening to this for the millionth time. This band is just so friggin good! I love everything about this song - the melodies, the aggressiveness, the beat just pounding through my veins, the growling and the awesome clean vocals. By far my favourite metal band in the last couple of years!

Holy shit, this band took me by surprise. There has been many many months and i havent found any new band which i would like to listen to but this band is fucking awesome. I hope that you come to finland at sometime soon!

Don't know why people keep saying that Nicklas sounds like Hetfield.. I think he actually sounds way better and his vocal is way more interesting and rich 🤘 ORBIT CULTURE 💪🏼
I am going to an Avatar concert next week and these guys are one of the opening bands. I am excited to see these guys. Never heard of them before I got the tickets to that concert.
I saw them with Avatar couple months ago and let's just say my neck was sore before Avatar came on and I mostly went to see Avatar. I'd love to see them again!
