If anyone reading this hasn't listened to the album "Insides" by orbital then stop the video, put your headphones on and listen start to finish. It's 25 years old or so now but it's in my opinion a timeless masterpiece.
In-Sides is Magnum Opus material for sure. Definitely my number one selection time and time again. I have (3) 2-disc copies (USA & UK version), just in case one of them ever goes bad.
I keep imagining their mom opening the door, switching the light on and shouting "what the hell's going on! Will you two turn that racket off and go to bed!" 😂

Well done! I've been a big fan of you both since the early/mid 90s. Had the pleasure of seeing you live during the community service tour in 99. I still regard that night as one of my best. @@Dabdad Nice! I saw them in Cleveland at The Nautica Stage. It was a great show. Orbital, The Crystal Method, and Low Fidelity All Stars.. couldn't go wrong with a lineup like that.
@@ctrldkaos yep. i remember that show. attended los angeles show. 99 was a great year. went to the first coachella too and got to see chemical bros and underworld. fat boy slim in vegas as well. big beat was huge back then. at least to me it was.
It's really fun to read this kind of comment when you were born in '99, like me, but some of the acts are just timeless and I'm really loving what these two are doing, can't wait for the 30 something and mainline albums re-releases

Saw you guys in Los Angeles in 1994 and 1996.1994 in the event hall in the shrine auditorium with several thousand inside. all night rave. 1996 was at the Organic rave. that was the best one. was in the mountains from 4pm till about 9am. . it was non stop and incredible. .

Thanks, gentlemen. I had the privilage of a chinwag wih, err, Mr. blue mask Hartnol (sorry, v.ignorant) about analogue synths on the Snivilisation tour. An empty gig, unfortunately but still a high point gigwise; the central truss cube for a stage etc, and Vapourspace was a brilliant support. I think 2020 may become a missed opportunity for Altern8. ha ha.
Managed to see Orbital on the last scheduled date before lockdown. Assumed they were going to be the highlight of the year but wasn't expecting that to be so clearly confirmed! Absolutely amazing set live and loving reliving it here on youtube! Absolutely fantastic.
A few years back I got really sick and only listened to orbital for probably over six months. It really helped with my anxiety. I listened to them so much that now if I put orbital on my wife tells me to turn it off because it reminds her of when I was sick. Haha
This is so cool. I listened to Snivilisation 256 years ago again and again. Now youtube has put this video into my "random list". Sometimes the Algorithm actually works.
