50 really isn't that old. I know when you're younger it seems ancient, but if you're taking regular exercise and mainly eating healthy, it's not difficult to be this youthful. I think the reason people believe 50 is ancient is because most people give up on their lives in their early 40's and are a mess by 50.
From a couple old ravers who are approaching 50 with some trepidation, Mel C has given us some assurance we'll be just fine 😉 Brilliant collab and probably the best clip ive seen from Glasto this year.
What a track. Huge shout from the US. Britain really does produce some talent. Loving Orbital and also other various UK electronica based acts like Underworld, The Prodigy, Faithless, Burial, UNKLE, Aphex Twin, Massive Attack, FSOL, Leftfield, Stereo MCs, The Streets, Goldie, Chemical Brothers, The Bug, ALLFLAWS
This reminds me the early 90's rave music and ravers dancing in their tracksuit (saying the obvious). This track has piano, acid, beats, Mel C in tracksuit dancing. Nice one.
I came here to say the same thing. All those live PAs back in the early rave days… the energy, the vibe. I think Mel absolutely nailed this performance and kudos to orbital for asking her to perform with them. This performance just goes to show how those “good old days” are not lost, we just need to reintroduce a new generation to them. Thank you Orbital and thank you Mel.
@@WhatOllieDidNextA rebirth of the original rave days, the same vibes, same energy and in a world where we need more hope. If it were to make a proper full scale come-back, now would be the time! :)
@@PaulGraham1977I think it’s starting to happen. Haçienda nights, Shellys reunion. It’s all starting to happen. Time the country comes together once again as “one nation”.
Dear Orbital, please continue with the live vocals on your upcoming Snivilisation and In Sides tours, bringing Ms. Alison Goldfrapp along for the tour, please. ❤❤❤
@@offbeat65unlike you, the spice girls kicked ass for being 5 dope chicks. And Mel C is still as cool as when I first witnessed her awesome charisma in the 90’s. This was definitely a spice girls performance. Stay pressed, you’ll never be on their level.
Hands down the best performance I saw at Glastonbury this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Crying reliving it again!!! Please Please release this track!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Orbital was the only set I bothered watching from Glastonbury being a massive fan since the early nineties. This was a great tune with classic old school vibes with Mel going all Flinty on stage. Great sample, piano and acid, ticked all the boxes from this old raver.
I agree this should be released as a single ! It has a totally fresh feel with the classic piano house sound combined with orbital’s signature sound of the early 90s and is perfect with Mel sampling her own songs! And wow she is 50 and can still totally rock a bra top!
That was amazing...its like we went back in time to when music was made with love & talent...so glad i heard this...we need to get orbital&mel c back in the limelight....
Not particularly a spice girls fan but having been in my late teens in the 90s, there's something really great about this collab. Plus I love that she's wearing the glasses 👌
Who wouldve thought that Oribital and The Spice Girls would work in a track together, veey cool... tbh The Spice Girls should just reform and put out a 4th album, italio House 90s inspired dance album , move away from their earlier poppy sound into something more mature and accessible. Love this and Orbital are amazing for allowing this to happen. Also think the Spice Girls would do pretty good at Glasto in the Legends slot.
I had the luxury of seeing these magnificent dudes live. Billy nasty b2b ben long on 8 decks and two mixers. The space djz live are thing to behold. Viva Techno! X
This is the best thing in 2024. Orbital x Mel C x Torch Glasses. Please! More collaboration x remixes like this! The track remixing at 2:12 onwards till end is amazing...the proof of Orbital's power on a dancefloor.
Can you please stop the "underrated" comments. (We know you want likes but find another way please.) Any acts at Glastonbury is anything but underrated.
