Excellent, this is the first time I've seen a T layout where the trains haven't run like demented bees nor used a an excuse to cram more in but to use the obvious application for the scale to sit the railway in a proper landscape.
the maker sure has an excellent sense for scaling reality. nothing looks overdone or too concentrated as often the case even in top makings, but everything just feels right. especially the spaces in the layout breathe very naturelike proportions.
I am working on a train set made of crafted neutrinos for the locomotive and cars, with shaped quarks for people and details. This is all mounted on lithium atom with a landscape etching on it.

Brilliant layout! The small scale enables the railway to be modelled as part of the open landscape. It would be hard to have enough room to model this length of the line in HO scale. The Snowy Flats Trestle, at T gauge is nearly 6 feet long. At HO scale, about 25 feet.
Amazing work. One of my earliest memories is of returning from Melbourne to Orbost with my mother in one of those red carriages. around 1980-81, and having these views out over the Snowy flats. However, I searched info recently that stated only freight was in service to Orbost at that time, passenger trains terminating in Bairnsdale for years by then. Perhaps it was a one off passenger train. Confusing. Nice memories anyway, really impressive recreation.
@@TheyMakeItLikeThat orbost is in victoiria australia and the exhibition layout is packed away in a shed not far away from where its modelled. It hasnt been displayed in about 5 years.
With a scale that small it appears you can model actual scenes in full scale on a portable layout without "selective compression". Nice work customizing an Australian train in T scale; there's no off-the-shelf equipment for that except the bogies and power trucks?
@@whoohaaXL people are truly disgusting in a way I cant understand. I could never think of ever doing drugs or drinking, that's just gross. Besides the point, this has nothing to do with this poor person's comment. Do you even care about what the video is about? Just leave ok? Noone needs your talk about drugs and beer. Anyway, how could you build this if you where half dead drunk? Think about that. Edit1: also what if you spilled something on your work? It takes months to do this right? Well then your whole faith in doing this would be shattered.
@@soopify1579 I've built 3 layouts in the past ten years. All on some substance. Just because they don't work, or don't appeal to you, doesn't mean others don't partake. My local hobby shop owners smoke pot and they're in their 50's and 60's. Get off your high horse. If one can function under the Influence, then that's their prerogative. Let them do their thing if they're not hurting anyone. And yes, I am a bonafide model railroader. I've actually built a 3 truck MDC shay kit while smoking weed that ran like a top.
It is incredible to see T Scale model railroading come of age. I noticed that the switch tracks don't look that different from the Arnold switch tracks from the 70's. Imagine what we will see in T Scale in the next 10 years.
Actually, as far as I can find out, not a lot more. I've had my basic kit for 5 years and so far there's not a lot else. Every year I ask if there's a steam engine made yet, and every year I'm told, they're working on it, it will be soon. The engines are too pricey for me to risk doctoring one in the hopes I can make something remotely authentic looking. If anyone knows different, please let me know.
Well there are some smaller, at 1:1000 scale. The brand is Nano Trains. The train or trains are magnets with plastic body covers. Then the track is an electromagnetic circuit.
I am currently working on an A scale layout which is at atomic size and can only be seen through a powerful microscope. I just seem to be struggling with the trees as i dont have a steady hand like i used to.
That's beautiful! With some kind of atmosphere effect and light it would certainly look like real life. One question, if I may: would you know how those large grass fields were done? I'm starting with dioramas and I'm looking for ways to make grass fields very similar to those. It would be for 1:500 planes, like they were in exhibition in a big park. Thanks for the video and congrats!
It is amazing the size of this set...your attention to detail and scale at least to my perception is perfect. I don't think that for me It could accomidate my interest in model railroading on this scale, tooo small for my hands and patences to function but so very cool to see your set up here. Awesome!
remember seeing that trestle bridge in real life when i went on holiday on the east east coast of NSW its falling apart a bit since its never used. a shame they closed that line.
I thought T scale was 1:450? Nice layout - especially the realistic speed of the train. But the one black passenger car seems to be raised up in the rear which looks a bit strange. Maybe the body wasn’t fully pressed down on the chassis?
Very cool! I'm presently an 0-27 guy. Not even real keen on HO any more... though I like the Kato N stuff. To me the bigger the model train the more realistic it seems. I think it's because of the heavier track and the noise the trains make.
T gauge is the best. I used to see them all the time at a hobby shop in Nagasaki bacm in 2007. Expensive. The wheels are magnetic too so you can make the upside down hehe
ive finally found a scale i want, i have a lot of H0 scale but when only having a L shaped table which measures about 3 m long and 1 m wide im not satisfied with the tight turns of the H0 scale (i like long trains), but ive finally found the scale i need
This is the first T scale layout I’ve found that isn’t the size of a table top... if I made a T scale layout I’d make it like this where it’s bigger and has more than 1 line.
How do you make the giant puddles look so realistic? This is amazing, and I must add that there is not enough Ritalin available for me to do something like this!
bonjour, je suis très intéressé par cette échelle de train miniature 1/450 " T " mais je n'arrive pas à en trouver en France, pourriez vous me donner un lien pour pouvoir en commander , merci
Did you make turnouts by yourself? I have never seen on tgauge such a turnout like the one on the left here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vZ6y5VvLXok.html
My T gauge would never run that slow :( the connections seem to be fine and the track and wheels are clean, but it is really temperamental at slow speeds..
@@BaileyChap yes it T gauge, the layout hasnt been out in years but think it might have been at a show over the weekend in NSW. Its a lot better in person to see the detail.
Remarquable décor / layout. T Gauge permet de créer des paysages immenses où la vue porte au loin ! Dommage que le wagon bleu ne soit pas horizontal. Il penche en avant. Retire-le. sinon, Bravo ! Remarkable decor/layout. T Gauge makes it possible to create immense landscapes where the view goes far! Too bad the blue wagon is not horizontal. He leans forward. Take it out. otherwise, congratulations!
