the Orbot is a better machine it does not break and is mainly for encapsulation since faster spinning will heat the carpet and damage it. You need to make sure is wet enough to prevent damage on carpet. If you pre spray you will never damage anything, bearing eating machine is not business efficient. If You have reoccurring issues, what Do you do? 8 bearings? Eliminate the issue. Also The Mytee is not fully using the whole pad only where the bristles are the center is not being used so you are wasting the pad really, while the Orbot is using the fulness of the pad. That is worth to mention.
I really dont like the velcro pad holder! Velcro Chews up the pads more than the red bristle type pad holders. + the velcro gets plugged up with fiber strands, then it dosnt hold the pad as well.
I don't understand this video... the Mytee has been through 8 barrings (cost+shipping+labor), it vibrates like a lawnmower, and rattles like a cheap lawn mower, has engineering defects, the motor blades hit the housing vent, but you like it better than a machine that hasn't given you hardly any problems? What am I missing here? I mean the thing vibrates like it's going to throw a part at any time.
The head on top of the mytee motor is touching the fan blades that’s why it’s making that noise I purchase mine and mine came like that through as well I had to takeoff the head and beat it with a hammer smooth out the dents that were inside the head
I hate the mytee. Its heavy as hell. Shakes the crap out of me and those bristles are really rough on pads. They tear up after awhile. Especially the mytee pads. They tear up right in the middle of a job. And yes its very noisy. Especially when that bearing is about to go out. Ive never used a vibe. But I had a minuteman ros 17 that I like. Its plastic but its light weight, doesnt shake so much and its quieter. How ever there are these rubber shock absorbers that hold the motor in place that keeps breaking. Kind of a bad design. But other than the rubber shock absorbers its great. And affordable. Im looking to get a Cimex real soon
