Came for sculpting, stayed for philosophical speech

A good multires workflow is to take your low poly model and select the hands and head, then subdivide the low poly model in just those areas, Then add the multires to the entire model. That keeps your topology clean but gives you a lot more detail in the head/hands areas. Also, multires works better at extremely high resolutions than remesh does.
