This looks great, thanks for all your work! How will the transition look like for company-sponsored ORCA cards/plans? Will they be treated just like personal cards?
Sorry I missed the meeting but I'm glad I'm not looking at the meeting and seeing what I'm hearing. But my comment about this whole thing is I'm glad that workers replacing some of the systems old equipment and basically putting in new equipment to replace it. Because the system is outdated! However, with the new Mallorca app which is going to be launched on Monday May 16th? I think what you're going to see are going to be some changes to it. But the bottom line is so to start out my main concern is that the my orca app basically could very easily be hacked by somebody or some people. Because my main concern is that the orca card is okay for that but what I'm really getting at is simple. The thing that I'm concerned about that the orca smartphone app itself could be hacked by somebody or some people. All they have to do is get our information right directly from that app and basically steal that information to commit fraud. That is why something needs to be done about it. So I think after lunch I think that's one thing we need to look at is that the fact that these vending machines and the Mallorca app could very easily be hacked at some point. And we need to address the situation and address it as quick as possible before it gets started.
Hi Leonard, The new system supports best practices for debit/credit card transactions. We also have a fraud management tool that analyzes system events.
