Orcas visit North Puget Sound
2/16/17 @ 11:12am - Todays visit of a good size Pod was very welcome, it's been awhile since Orcas have visited us in the Puget Sound!
I first spotted Orcas (breaching) from North Edmonds as they crossed east of Point No Point on the Kitsap Peninsula. I watched and videoed them as they travelled south mid channel between Edmonds and Kingston.
Note: at about 1:57 into the video; I believe you can see a very small orca with it's mom.... a new baby? That would be great!!

Great video Stu! Were you by any chance on the Edmonds dock while taking these? I saw someone on my walk with a camera and a long lens taking shots in the direction of point no point. I think it was on Thursday.

Anita, no that wasn't me. I live just a mile north of the Edmonds Ferry Terminal on the shoreline, and thats where I did this videoing. Thanks for the message!
