Oh dear drones and boats and all that gear and a little chalet Wendy house too, and still the fish won't cooperate, until someone comes up with an app that tracks them 24/7 then lowers something from your 3 grand boat to grasp them behind the head whilst another attachment sticks a hook squarely in the bottom lip! Which some people would no doubt welcome.Yes carp fishing can be tough, and tough with a capital F in the winter.Unless your on somewhere with lots of hungry Carp per acre like the linear lakes. But how easy do we want it. At least you were willing to show and own your blank. I've had countless blank goes fishing in the frozen North carp fishing 40 winters. Oh but when that indicator goes up unexpectedly on a winter day....nothing to beat it for feeling like you've earned it.
You’re so right! Part of the reason we love fishing so much is that moment when the indicator does bounce up after blanking for days on end in freezing conditions makes it all worth it. We also like to give a fair and true account of our sessions which is why the gents at Wolf walk through everything they’ve tried to get the fish to play ball but sometimes it just doesn’t happen. We like to say; ‘we don’t blank, we just run out of time’ 😂 Thanks for watching!
