I always love your posts and have learned so much from you over the years, thank you for your dedication! One thing I'd like to draw to your attention; the pronunciation of Hilo is "he-lo" instead of "hi-lo". It is a city on the Big Island of Hawaii. The Big Island, as I'm sure you are aware, has many commercial Orchid growers.

Most orchids are not difficult to take care of, just different than most houseplants. MissOrchidGirl has a lot of videos on how to care for them. Check it out and enjoy!

The colour in phrag blooms are affected by temperature. Washed out colours means it was a high temp when buds were developing, brighter colours are caused by cooler temps. The difference in colour can be quite striking! Another colour changing orchid ;)

I can't believe I missed this video for so long! School is getting a little crazy haha. But I did buy some of those lights. Well the same brand but not the panels,but I got 2 clip lamps with 5 total panels that work perfect for me. Flowers this winter!!
