Orcs Must Die! 3 ushers orc-slaying mayhem to a previously unimaginable scale. All new War Scenarios pit players and their friends against the largest orc armies ever assembled. They really need to get this on steam.... this game had a huge fanbase on steam. Had a BLAST on Orcs Must Die 2 playing with a friend, so fun on endless mode coop :)

@@richier8898 orcs must die 2 uses a peer to peer networking system which may be your issue. There's no servers so connection is hardware dependent.

Thanks for giving Stadia a try. OMD3 looks exactly like OMD1. Exactly the same kind of gameplay. Its almost like this could have been an expansion pack to OMD1, and thats a good thing. Going back to the basics. New isn't always better. I'm glad to see them going back to the old winning formula.

I played Unchained. It was fun being able to have two lanes advancing to the enemy's two defensive lanes and vice versa along with having PVP, then I come back to it and they made it more of an indirect pvp which was dumb for me. That's when OMD:Unchained died for me, than the game died altogether, a bummer but I'm glad to see an OMD3. Hopefully they'll add in the characters from Unchained into the third game just to be able to play them again.

@@ragingmoo157 Same. I enjoyed the siege a lot, but especially the special map keys were cool. The ones where you had crazy modifiers stacked together and then getting to the highest tier. I really hope something like that comes back.

I played Unchained and 5-starred all of the PvE maps, I actually really enjoyed the game and characters. I only lowered my playtime when I ran out of stuff to do since I had basically everything non cash related. PvP I played a bit of both versions, never really was something for me (I'm not really competitive) but it was fun too. Shame it's gone, but completely understandable.

One thing I'd say on this is barricades were great in OMD: Unchained. Manipulating the pathing was incredibly useful, and stronger than traps quite often. Wonder how much has changed here in terms of it.

*facepalm* No, Stadia is not a subscription service. You buy games and play them without paying sub. The Pro tier is an optional sub, only if you want 4k and extra games. But you can pretty much buy OMD 3 outright and never pay a dime over that to play the game for as long as you want.

Correction, you can play the game as long as you A: have internet and B: the game isn't removed from the platform, as opposed to every other platform where you can play games regardless of internet or whether the game is still on the platform. So, at least in my opinion, the Stadia as well as the concept is just horrible in general

Dude, I've been waiting for this game. Orcs Must Die 2 was one of my favourites when I was growing up, and I kinda liked Unchained (it had flaws, but it was fun with my friends), so I'm keen to watch you do a series on this. I would so buy this on a decent platform.

Why not play it for literally free, while you're waiting? The one month free trial will get you the game. If you like, you can buy the game and never pay the sub again - you still get to play the game forever.

They both look a bit generic. The Orc Slayer from game 1 had that Bruce Campbell charm to him that was sort of lost a bit with game 2. Probably should have done something similar and taken inspiration from cult comedy actors.

Considering it's on stadia, I can see why. Stadia was a huge, and I mean a huge, failure on launch and in general. It just has a terrible concept and assumes everyone who will buy it will not only have internet in general, but good enough internet to be able to do what stadia wants. Considering very few ppl even consider the stadia as a real console, it's no suprise that they held back marketing till a proper release on actual consoles and platforms

Lovely to see Orcs must die and i do like the new appearance of the orcs, as they always look so goofy but i hope we will get some.different sort of enemies to fight, like the humans in unchained and the variants of them like the Frost variants of both the orcs and the humans. But the shotgun knocks back the orcs and well i like the new traps

@Wanderbots, why are you so biased against Stadia or even the concept of cloud gaming ? I own a PS4 & a PC, and I find it extremely painful & wasteful to keep buying or upgrading the expensive hardware and also having all the CD/DVDs lying around the house. The concept of cloud gaming has the potential to make the concept of 'owning-a-gaming-console' obsolete just like the way streaming videos made the concept of 'owning-a-CD/DVD/VCR-player' obsolete . Cloud gaming is a REVOLUTION in the gaming industry that is definitely gonna have a lots of haters because it is going to change the entire landscape of gaming business and put a lots of pressure on companies that didn't investing in streaming technology. And, from the perspective of consumers it is gonna make the gamers who invested in expensive gaming consoles look like idiots (and trust me no one likes to be called one) and they hate cloud gaming just for that. It would take some for Stadia to catch up, but I can guarantee if it completes a year (just 3 more months to go) in the market, THIS IS GOING TO BE THE FUTURE.

Well Said !!! Some people don't even have a valid reason why they don't like Stadia. Why would someone spend $480 on a console that is going to be outdated in 3 years when there are better GPUs and Processors. With the same $$$ you can get Stadia PRO for 4 years !!! without even having to worry about hardware upgrades. Some of the other PROs I see with Stadia - play wherever and however, hack proof as you don't store the files locally , you never run out of HDD space, zero downloads or updates.

Loved OMD 1and 2 Didn't like the Unchained MOBA. Went in a direction that didn't gel with me like the first two games did. I'll give 3 a chance when/if it comes out for Steam on PC, but I don't know; still prefer the first two original games.

An odd suggestion but how about a fan co-op? You select someone randomly from stream to join you, at least for as long as you will play on stadia, maybe some viewers will want to show off some interesting killboxes to you and everyone else. Just a thought but it could be fun.

Yeah generally good to both have a kill box (spot where you can almost certainly stop them) and chips along the way since if both lines reach at once the traps aren't going to be able to hit enough. (Especially since the arrow walls aren't piercing right now) This of course changes when you can put up walls to force the enemy into a death route. Then the problem tends to just be dealing with the assholes that don't give a fuck about the walls and either break them or blind charge your face.
