I love how it's so obvious the creators really loved Harry Potter, from the mention of book only stuff like the Death Day party and Ron and Hermionie being made prefects, a lot of effort went into this.

This is definitely the game with the liveliest script. Probably because it has a lot to work with character-wise. We're not really being distracted by plot points so much; the main focus very much is "I am an angry teenager and I do not like rules, stop giving me *more* of them".

I like that this game and the Lego Harry Potter both have the teachers fire back at you in some way when you randomly attack them during exploration. Granted, in the Lego games they either kinda obliterate you or completely immobilize you for a bit, and here McGonagall merely disarms him, but... Yeah, just a cool touch nevertheless- I like it when games find a logical way like this to remind players that they aren't invincible and that their actions have consequences!

Just a little nice trick with the stairs. If they start to turn wrong way, run towards the rail on the side, you are wanting stairs to get. They start to turn back. You were actually doing it in this video but stopped half way through. Might actually keep your blood pressure in check.
