Louie Anderson _always_ brings a smile to my face. His comedy style, I believe, has given more genuine heartfelt laughter (most always performed "clean," no less) over the decades than few others. Louie's legit deserved all of his success.
Same for me. To date, I have only 2 RU-vid video "suggesteds" I can hit LIKE before I watch the actual vid. Louie is my only comic. His performances as well as back story always made me want to reach out in a virtual hug for the guy. 💕💔
Louie Anderson has amazed me for decades. From his morphine drip to his description of his mom, dad, and his brother Tommy. 👋 he is my hero. I wished I were more like him. of all times.
Looking at the comments below I totally agree but what most people don't realize or seem to comment on is that I do not believe he ever (or rarely ever) used a profanity nor a "dirty" joke that was not family friendly. The laughter he generated was as good as or even better than any other comic who resorted to foul humor.
