Congratulations. The only downside is, it's going to ruin you from ever wanting to drive anything else! Hopefully, it won't take 8 months. When I ordered my 3 in August, they said 6-8 weeks. Since GM was buying back my 2017 Bolt EV, I was looking into a rental. Two weeks later the Tesla was in my driveway. I think that was partly due to them trying to hit a record for the quarter, but I hear that they under promise and over deliver. Hoping you get an early Christmas gift. You're gonna love this car!
