To be frank to you I really appreciate the way you interpret the result, and I am getting very useful information in my job. Keep it up.

Fantastic video Mike, have been using your videos on ordinal regression to complete my thesis. Thanks for your work. Really helped me get the paper over the finish line.

Thanks so much Mike. I testify that you videos are highly informative and illustrative in general. Are there any graphs or charts to depict ordinal regression data?

Hi Mike, thanks for the video. But I have a question. You put "Polviews" and "Degree" in the covariates box for the regression, but aren't they Factors? I know you said they are basically scale variables, but I just don't know if I have to treat my dependent variables that are mostly Likert-type scale (i.e. 1 to 5 from most satisfied to most dissatisfied) as covariates or factors.

Thank you so much Dr Crowson, this video is really helping me out in understanding the ordinal logistic regression. I am however wondering about the "Warning sign" in the first calculation (PLUM) as i am also getting that warning about missing cells in my analysis. If i believe that in the population it is not weird that not all predictor values has a "corresponding value" in the DV, can i just ignore this warning? If not, how can i do to compensate for this so that my estimates is not calculated wrong. I have tried data reduction procedures such as collapsing the predictor variables. Best wishes Jerry Norlin - Dalarna university, Sweden

Hi Dr. Mike! Is it permissible for variable with ordinal scale to be placed on covariate than in factors?

Helpful Video, Thank you dr. Crowson. Still, I am confused about the difference between factors and covariates. Could you please provide me with a reliable link or reference about that?

Covariates - numerical, factors - factors. Note that if you have a binary variable, i.e. sex, it can be treated as a covariate.

I wonder that the dependent variable is qualitative ordinal but in measurement is has been measured like a quantitative (scale sign instead of ordinal or nominal). can you please explain. thanks
