The Owl House Fandom has entered the chat

The writer of little miss perfect actually wrote this song after LMS got really popular in the owl hous fandom because the lyrics really fit a character is the show called Amity (who is canonly a lesbian and has a crush on the main character who is actually confirmed as bi which is so cool considering it's a Disney channel animated show) so after seeing fans of the show use the song for her character he wrote ordinary about the main character of the show, luz. Some of the lyrics directly refer to the plot of the show like when she says "I have to go back home". The plot of the show is about a human she travels through a portal to a world with witches and demons and then stays there to learn magic so she is talking about how eventually she'll have to go back to the human world to her family. And the line "this girl thinks I'm part of her world" also refers to that since Amity is a witch and grow up in the magic world. I really think this song captures what makes luz such a great main character she owns up to her quirks regardless of how she's being told to keep it to herself she doesn't want to fit in because that means not being true to herself. The show really does a great job exploring those themes with Luz well as other characters, that's what brings our main characters together in the first place. It's such a refreshing exploration of that concept and is done beautifully I highly recommend giving the show a shot and thought it's a "kids show".

Something i found interesting is how in both songs the line "should i rewind, induce amnesia" is where the song trasitions. In Little miss perfect it gets a lot more sad like the feeling of not being able to be who you are and denying who you are but then in Ordinary it gives a feeling of self-acceptance.

I really suggest the show that “claimed” Little Miss Perfect and inspired Ordinary. It’s called The Owl House, and the songs are seen as the main characters’s theme songs.

ordinary is a song that already meant the world to me and then the musical really just made it boom the only information even released about lmp the musical is that noelle (aka lmp) is from this rlly conservative family and they host an exchange student for a year who she starts to fall for while dealing with all that coming of age stuff and a shitty high school that refuses to accept a lot but the thing is that made me fall so so in love with it because i was an international student! it literally describes my life! i relate to literally like everything that’s been released about it so far!!

The songwriter recently released a new song (it's in a rehearsal format) but it's a duet with the 'girl' from 'Little Miss Perfect' and the girl from this song singing together. The rehearsal is so good I can't wait for a more official sounding release!

Hannah! Allie Grace is a recent graduate from the musical theatre program at Western Michigan University. Joriah graduated from there I think the year prior. I currently am a sophomore mt and so I saw Allie a couple of times in our production of Urinetown as Hope and their senior showcase. SHE IS AMAZING!!! So talented and so so kind. I love the message of this song. I'm often really worried about others' opinion of me, but I'm gonna start to change that.
