That song he sings on stage in New York is based on a true story that happened to him in his heart and you can see the expression on his face when he is singing the song even if you don't understand the words.
I recommend the video in AGT 2020 of a young girl from Kazakhstan, Tears of gold, Daneliya Tuleshova. She was competing with Dimash in World´s Best in 2019. She is only 13 years old with a very mature voice for her age. There is another video of her when she was 10 years old in The Voice Kids Ukraine singing "Stone cold", the level she shows at her young age is impressive.
It’s a complete joy to watch you, your faces and expressions reacting to Dimash. He does 2 versions of SCREAMING, a MV and also a live performance at Idol Hits. You must see both. Gloria Wu’s channel has the backstories to Autumn Strong, Daybreak and Daidiau, all true events. He wrote Unforgettable Day when he was 19 , also My Swan and My Beauty which has the sweetest MV from 2012 where he’s flirting. When he released his first cd, it went platinum in 37 seconds and an hour later it was platinum 3 times over. There are so many levels and layers to Dimash. When h was a little boy, he didn’t play with toys, he listened to various cassettes. He would even sleep with them in his bed. But, when his mother tried to take them away, he cried. I just love this sweet little story.
Dimash plays piano, dombra, xylophone, drums, guitars.....his voice is an instrument too......plus a couple of other music instruments I don't know what they're called.....

If you want to see all of Dimash's range, react to Unforgettable Day at Gakku concert. This man can hit a sustained D8 note. I ultra-strongly recommend this. You haven't heard ANYTHING until you hear his D8 whistle.

Greetings from Hungary Stef and Ben! yes, he's a paraphenomen... many people call it "Alien" well for sure, no one has done it after!- By the way, if the Dears have now (all over the world) gifted him with a space card, which means that the space rocket launched by NASA yesterday has a chip card with Dimash data, and when it reaches Mars this space rocket (expected in 2021) will be deployed there. I agree that this is one of his most powerful performances. For something a little different (but with something spine tingling about half way through) try "We Are One." And have you reacted yet to "Love Is Just a Dream" and "I Know?" Both well worth your time. Greetings from Seattle.
By the way, I suggest you the original version Tears Of Gold, singing by Faouzia; the two versions stripped and autotune with a lot of quality, besides that she is beautiful and has a very peculiar voice, she is creative since she includes elements not very common.
