It really is! And we get him for another year! He'll be starting TE next year and really show us what he's capable of. BTW, was T. Ferg out with an injury?
the last time Oregon played at Tempe; Justin Herbert threw 2 interceptions in that hugely disappointing loss. I found it rather poetic that his little brother Patrick scored the first 2 Oregon touchdowns!
could’ve been 60+ easily if the backups kept up the intensity. But great game. let’s lock in for the beavers, we gave one away last year. Time for some get back
I love seeing the backups come in. Sure it would be nice to really run up the score, but the experience they gain will pay dividends in future games if they need to replace a key starter.
Incredible first half for the Ducks. I would have liked to see the early big lead turned over to Thompson at halftime to get him some quality reps. I wish the coaches would have given Thompson a more aggressive playbook. This is his audition for next year. He did ok, but not super impressive. I’m thinking they need to be looking for a qb in the portal.
I don't think you have to go to the portal. They have some serious talent in Novosad and Van Buren. If Ty doesn't work out they have plenty of talented players to back it up.
Kicking game still shaky and we need a portal QB after the season. Sorry Thompson lovers, he isnt it. He has years at the college level to wow us at some point and its just not there.
@@sergeant_salty It isn't just the rain though. He threw under 50 percent at Utah and has been underperforming for weeks now. Penix is overhyped. I have been watching this dude every week overthrowing at least 30 percent of his passes and that is a low number. You look at his stats he has a 63 percent completion percentage. That is absolutely horrendous.
If Oregon overlooks Oregon State and loses in the Civil War, then the Ducks will completely get left out of the Pac12 championship game. If I were a Duck fan, I'd make 100% sure my team is NOT overlooking Oregon State. I'd keep reminding everyone to focus every day from now until next Saturday prepare for Oregon State as thoroughly as humanly possible. Too much at stake to mess up by being unprepared for the Civil War...plus you'd never live that one down.
