Oregon Inlet Campground 

Oregon Inlet Campground, Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Good and dog friendly campground near the national seashore. It has beach access through the dune trails by just a short walk and also a sand road. You can drive on the beach.
Starlink worked great, but AT&T was terrible. The showers had a board screwed over the doors, so they were not available while we were here. It is cold and windy in the off season, but we really don't stay at campgrounds to enjoy the campground. We use a campground as a home base for visiting sites in the area. It is an easy drive to the Wright Brothers National Memorial, Bodie Island Lighthouse, Nags Head Woods Preserve and Hang Gliding Lessons should that be of interest.
