Presenting a compilation video over the course of Spring 2020. These are clips from four shortline railroads in Western and Southern Oregon including the:
-Coos Bay Rail Line (CBRL)
-Central Oregon & Pacific (CORP)
-Portland & Western (PNWR)
-Albany & Eastern (AERC)
Scenes are as follows:
- 00:15 | CBRL Hauler train Westbound at Gardiner and Reedsport
- 04:19 | CORP Roseburg Turn train near Rice Hill
- 07:41 | PNWR Willamina Local train near Broadmead
- 09:32 | AERC Hauler train just East of Albany
- 13:16 | CORP Medford Hauler train with Tie loads at Ashland and Steinman
- 16:05 | CBRL Hauler train heading East between Brickerville and Walton
- 19:46 | PNWR American Turn train North of Junction City
- 22:30 | AERC Special train with NP Vista Dome car just East of Albany
- 23:53 | CORP North Glendale Hauler train at Myrtle Creek
- 25:03 | PNWR Rock train between Woodburn and Salem
- 26:31 | CBRL Hauler train heading East between Walton and Brickerville
There are some unique locomotives/ paint schemes throughout this feature including a Providence & Worcester SD70M-2 on the CORP Roseburg Turn, two ex- CSX SD70M as well as one of their SD40 units.
CBRL sports some MP15 units.
The PNWR Willamina Local features an ex- ATSF and ex- LLPX units.
The CORP Medford Hauler is basically a MOW train with only tie loads and uses two SD40's.
The AERC uses Dash 8-40b units and runs a special train hauling a NP dome vista to be used on the Santiam Excursion trains.
The PNWR Rock train regularly uses the 1854 SD9 unit which is scheduled to be sold at the end of 2020.
