OREI HDMI Splitter Unboxing, Set Up, Review 

I can vouch that this works, Bought this a few days ago and it came in today and it works perfectly fine and does the job for my game capture

Excellent. I saw that there are TWO versions of this available on Amazon. There is the 1.2 version and 1.3 version. The newer model is $10 more... but I have no clue if it’s worth the extra cash.

Does it work as an actual splitter and send video through 2 outputs? I bought a different one that basically failed completely and I'm looking into buying this one. I need it to send footage from my PS3 to my capture card and my monitor. Can it do that without flickering or lagging?

Hey I was wondering if you tested it with anything besides an Elgato? I have a StarTech capture card and was trying to figure out if this would work.

Hi did you plug the elgato into a computer after the splitter? And then what do you view it on? Did you run the other hdmi to a monitor from the splitter?

It still gives me hdcp

Wish the dang splitter could be powered by the PS3... I got enough plugs and no more outlets as it is.
