this song awakens some beautiful yet strange feelings. It always reminds me of: cold winds, the grey of a city in motion, a sense of purpose and a little bit of loneliness, and yet everything is alright. induces me the feeling that I am doing something right, even though it is out-of-the-box.
The song is pretty sad, but I like the fact that he's not taking the live TV appearance to seriously. It's nice to see musicians smile every once in a while.
I'm real glad to see an artist who genuinely looks like they are having fun, Cheeky smile when the puppet pops up! Really nice song as well. Much love to the fella!
Many people have been saying the puppet is hassling him and how annoying that is. But if you ask me, his discipline to deal with it whilst singing live shows great skill. Even more impressed by him.
lol- I liked her, she made me smile. and the thing that really made me smile was that Oren was so chill about it, and he kept forcing himself not to crack up. :) Love the song, and this rendition was so cute and enjoyable.
i actually bought Opposite Side of the Sea- one of the best albums i own rite now - this one is my personal fav- i also like Ruby Rises and The Man Who Isn't There
haha that m onster has gotta be a trip when you see it next to you:) first time ive ever seen this guy but he's pretty damn good:D lol the ending made me go awhh
When he smiles, I smile. When he looks at the camera, I look back. but when the monster came along I looked at the monster, because of the child inside.
@kopitikop I can almost recall what that is like...far too long ago. Migrant filmworkers like me don't land anywhere long enough to grow heartstrings...
ehh i know. but i wasent just trying to randomly quote the room. added mark to what jimmy said because he almost said it in tommys voice(the guy that played johnny you know, cant miss him) if i was quoting the room i would have added "".
