Easy Oreo Mousse
SERVES: 4
INGREDIENTS
• 8 Oreo cookies (or brand equivalent)
• 1 1/2 cups whipping cream
• 1/2 cup powdered sugar
PREPARATION STEPS
1. Separate the cream from the chocolate cookies. Place the filling in a microwave safe bowl and the cookie in a large plastic storage bag (ex: Ziploc type)
2. Seal the plastic storage bag and crush the chocolate cookies until they are finely ground. Set aside.
3. Microwave the filling for 90 seconds. Set aside.
4. In a mixing bowl, using an electric mixer with whisk attachment, whip the cream. Gradually, add in powdered sugar and the filling from the cookies. Keep whipping until stiff peaks form.
5. Fold in crushed cookie grounds. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
6. Keep leftovers in a covered container in the refrigerator.
