You should visit Foulness Island and Potton Island, Britains first Atomic bomb was assembled at the AWRE Foulness site and transported from there via boat to be tested near Australia. Ive visited Potton which was not easy to access, lots of old research labs and bunkers
Such a good drone video, captures the natural light so very well. That atomic weapon research place has an extreme other-world feel to it. ...Almost expected to see Dr Who's tardis materialize in front of a Pagoda, see its door open and Tom baker step out followed by K9. ...Those were the days! (LOL)
I was on coastel shipping some years ago and the the admiralty orders to Marina's was if you found your boat /ship was in trouble of orford ness make no attempted to go ashore here if you stay with your craft as long as you can and help will arrive ?in the 70s all you would see is a landrover at times as you ent past there your compass would swing out of control so there must have been a very strong electric field like foulness hush hush .
