Great. May God Bless those who are involved in the production and marketing these items. Kalchatti is really a great thing. We are using at home. They have utilised small pieces also which will help them to improve their income. This type of Coffee Filters are used by the caterers. This type of mat is called "METHA PAI" which are smoother than "Ola Pai". Kodai in coffee filter is used not to allow the coffee powder coming up while pouring hot water.

We can clean the copper vessel with lemon and salt. This will have good results than tamarind. Lemon+salt gives the copper vessel a new look.

Pls understand that tamilians speak only their mother tongue though they know English... It's their love towards their mother tongue... I am not a tamilian but I follow their channels as these are abundant in traditional knowledge.. then I try to understand the ingredients in English or kannada through the help of Google..

Madam Mortar & Pestle sold at Rs.85 would be shallow inside and hence weightless. Here is fully made of stone which is not shallow hence the weight would be more. That's why the price is more.
