Fascinating Jonny. Keep up the great work showing the machines, it's quite nice to see how it's done and how the machines operate. Thanks! Keep showing more when you have a chance. Camera shake eeehhhh!!! earthquake test. Steady on, test complete.
Blimy Jonny your spoiling us with your videos at the moment :) I have never seen one of these machines at work before so I really appreciate you taking the time to film, edit and upload it, all done in your inimitable style. Loved it M8. Hope you and the family are well. :)
1388 travel mug in daily use now!! Pride of place on dash of van👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 great video. Interesting machine never seen one before so thanks for the tutorial. Thanks as always Pete
Excellent piece of kit and very well explained video...easier than my old job 25 years ago pulling and chopping about 50 bushel's a day by hand and normally with snow on the ground.
Its about bloody time you put another video up ya little tinker ha ha, I know a lot about dairy farming but not arable so its great to see all the different machines work in the arable world and how they lift the crops , very interesting video thanks Jonny Bernard from Burnley,
Hi Jonny, Hope you're keeping well mate. This video was ever so fascinating, love these very informative ones. Looking forward to the next video. Hope you have a great week, take care mate :)
Once again a fantastic insight into all things Pollybell Organic!!!! Well done pal and the safety stuff goes without saying !!! More I said !!!! MORE!!! Cheers Kiddo!
Very enjoyable explanation of a very Eunice machine and a lovely bit of engineering it is to. i would say thats now my 2nd favorite video of yours i still love the land drain ones the most. top work sir you put these videos across so well stay safe out there.
Great explanation of a piece of kit that most of us would never see otherwise and some really good camera angles which meant that it was easier to understand what was going on. Really like the look of those newer manitou machines if you get a chance at some point could you do a video showing what they are like as the last telehandler I used at all regularly was an old pivot steer matbro 😃👍🏻🚜
just came across your videos looks good. we farm in the Netherlands at home we have rebuild one leek harvester to harvest our flowers (cut them just above the ground and transport them also in boxes)
Going to do my first harvest tommorw. Done a few test runs but failed miserably. I think the sheer underneath sticks out to far from the belt. Thanks for the detailed explanation, ill try and bring it back.
Great video Jonny never seen a leek harvester up in this part o the world 🤔 looks to be a fairly mind intensive job workin it, hope u an family well cheers Jonny 💪💪
My first job on the farm was digging and skinning leeks In March, very cold, frosty, and wet, three of us would do about 30 bushel box’s a day, that was 1964, how things have come on, Steve
Brilliant video mate - something I've never seen so really interesting! Your 240 was looking good, what size tyres has she got on? We are getting a 240 in the spring, changing the Massey 7726 for something decent!
Thank you! :) You would think it’s a slow process but we can harvest 150kg of leeks every 2 minutes. I haven’t seen or heard of any multiple row leek harvesters. I think The trouble with a multi row harvester would be making sure all the rows can work independently from each other in order to follow the ground and make sure it’s not chopping the bottom of the leeks off on one side, and lifting too deep the other. I’d absolutely love to see one if there are any out there! That would be really interesting! We can fill one of those boxes in less than minutes. And generally we can harvest enough leeks in 1day to keep the pack house busy for around 3 to 4 days. Hope that helps a little bit my friend! :)
My brother knows about machinery and limbs he lost 3 fingers on right hand on Grimme planter thinking he could Pratt about unjamming the drill where spuds get taken from hoper and into the ground.
Fantastic video never seen one working before 👍glad your putting the safety thing on always better take a little more time and not get hurt 👍another channel for you to look at is Crossfell Farming Videos
Eh up chap. Proper cool bit of kit that !, way way to complicated for a fool like me to drive tho 🤔. Think I’ll stick to baling, chasing and driving diggers 😎. Catch ya on the next one 👍.
I don’t choose where the adverts go Tom that’s up to RU-vid. I wasn’t aware there were any on this video. The very “small” amount of money I get from the adverts will also help me out to get new camera equipment in the future to keep my channel going.
Jonny 1388 not just you,but as soon as people get monetised, they bang adverts in everywhere. Its ruined some really good channels. You can choose where and when, maybe an option view one at the start, then none during the video. It does put people off viewing, trust me.
