Really enjoyed this Steph. Next year I’ll be downsizing into a retirement apartment and I’m saving up all these hacks so that I can make a house as efficient as possible. Even if Kmart is out of stock because of the virus, this will allow me to plan and keep my eye out for things as they become available.😄

Great video. Definitely going to try some of these. Random but I find rubbing plastic containers with bicarbonate soda or even flour after use and before washing will get rid of pasta sauce stains.

Huge problem is Kmart have no stock once the virus wiped out China. They said everything would be back to normal by July but that never happened. Has me thinking there is something suspect going on in China if they can't supply easily. At my local Kmart the are selling fans and eskies in the middle of winter to just fill empty shelves. If you want a $10 fan in July, well Kmart is the place to go.

I was at K-Mart yesterday and mine was pretty well stocked. K-mart has an acrylic lid organiser for $7... I was there to buy placemats to put on my emergency stockpile shelves, but walked out with that too lol. Actually I got table runner which I’ll cut to size, same material as the placemats. I also keep vegemite in the cupboard.
