I am currently downsizing as well. I am not sure where you live. You might consider replacing your closet system with IKEA pax. It would be so much easier to work with in that closet. Everything would be easier to access and organize. A couple of tips I learned about organizing. Turn one shoe the opposite direction will save you space. Also, I turn all my hangers backwards and the normal direction once they are worn. It helps you see what has not been worn, in a season of course. Good

Loved this video. I used the one in-two out rule, to get my house minimized to a level of stuff I could stand. It helps with impulse buys too, because as soon as I picked up something to buy-I started thinking about whether it was worth giving up 2 other items for- I'm now down to one in- one out and it still makes me think before an impulse buy.

Great video, Allie! You could do Ziploc space saver bags for the clothes that are too small that you want to save! I love them so much, I use them for our guest linens. I hear you on getting back to "less". I am on a journey of getting rid of a LOT right now! You've got this!

love the outfits. i will definitely have to check them out., and i need to get my closet done i am, i been decluttering it alot but seems like i am not getting anywheres, i need to find a good system for everything and everyone to use in my hub and my room. just dont know how to at this point.

What if you took out some of your hanging space you aren't using and add a nice tall show rack? Like an Ikea closet shoe rack? Also something I had to do to declutter clothing was to remove all the items I felt really needed to go but felt I couldn't let go of. I put them in our guest room closet for 6m and when I didn't reach for any of it I felt better about donating it. Hope that helps with all the things you have that don't really suit your body

You say that you 'could have gotten rid of most of the clothes in your wardrobe but then wouldn't have many clothes left' BUT if you were going to get rid of things that you didn't wear/things that don't fit right... you would be left with the things that you already wear and love. Sooo unless you walk around naked 24/7 now, you will still have things to wear... you will just be getting rid of things that are just sitting in your wardrobe for no reason. 💖

Give the baby and infant clothes and stuff to you local Women’s Shelter. You can take it off as a tax deduction and bless someone else with the stuff.

Yes!! Love this! I also have a connection with a transition home that helps launch people successfully into life outside the foster system. They are eager to take kitchen stuff, baby things as well etc. and that’s where I’m taking my donations. There’s so many wonderful places like these to donate!
