Michelle, it looks beautiful and the locations you chose make so much sense. However, I have one suggestion---to move the spices to one of the empty drawers to the left of their current one. The heat and moisture generated by the oven and stovetop will make the spices deteriorate and lose their "oomph" faster, and good spices are expensive to begin with! Since you have those extra drawers available, you can still the spice collection near the stove, as you mentioned you prefer, just a little bit more protected from temperature and moisture fluctuations. (And, I know others already suggested it, but keeping the spices all together and in alphabetical order is such a time and money saver! No more coming home with another jar of cardamom only to discover that you had one still 3/4 full in the "for tea" basket that you didn't see because you only checked in the "for baking" basket!)

I love all the organization vlogs! It gives me ideas when I move back into my condo after a fire that my neighbor below me started back in January. It moved up to my condo. One good thing about the fire is that I get an almost new condo. All new cabinets, counter tops, appliances in the kitchen. new flooring and paint throughout. Hopefully I’ll be moving back in next month! It’s been a weird 2021 for me.

Awesome! And welcome to Austin! One suggestion...Move the spices one drawer away from the oven. Heat from the oven may cause some spices to expire too quickly. And now...I need to go back to my kitchen and incorporate some of YOUR fabulous ideas!

Thanks for the suggestion Beth! Honestly, our spices that are in the jars pretty much all came from Aldi and cost $1 each 😂 We will consider moving them though! I'm happy you were able to get some new ideas!

Love it! One suggestion is shelf and drawer liner, (so many beautiful designs to choose from). Lining really saves the finish of the woodwork and makes clean up easier.

Oh! And also, there is a hair tools organizer that fixes to the inside of you cabinet door, it's where can put your hair dryer and irons. I love mine.

This is amazing! I might put the paper towels on the top shelf and move the tp to the bottom 2 shelves - easier to reach. You are definitely more skilled at organizing, however. Love the video!

This is my first time on your channel. Wow are you organized. I could never open my drawers or closet for anyone to see. BUT you have motivated me to start with my stuff. Your house is beautiful and well-organized. Don’t you just hate waiting on other items in order to feel like everything is complete? Michelle, I have a bin in my closet for clothes that aren’t dirty that I plan on wearing again. I also have a hook in my bathroom for lounge ware that can be worn again. My husband and I both have “backup” slippers. 🤣 Your hair is long and gorgeous!

I never thought I would be able to stay organized after having kids. Because everyone told me once I did all of that would go down the drain and I wouldn’t have time to keep things tidy. Well, here I am. Two kids later and still as organized as ever. Kids are thriving and I am happy. You can do it beautiful people!

Great job Michelle. What about unscrewing and removing the back shelf where your baking trays and wire wracks are so you can put them in length ways and then you can free up half a unit?

@@laurenpigott885 i put mine vertically and half a half shelf in the back and they fit, it is a smaller cabinet only like 12" wide, so the shelf in back has pie plates that I can still get too

Suggestion for the flip drawer at the kitchen sink for sponges, etc. Can you attach the plastic bin/case lower to fit your favorite sponge? It looks like it fits widthwise, but not the height. If you could lower the plastic part, it would give you the height you need. (You probably already tried that, but I thought that I would mention it.) Nice video. Super affirming of my kitchen flow & organization. 👍😁

I loved this! A suggestion I have for those wires that are loose is that if you buy bread from the store, you could save the twist ties to wrap your cords! Or maybe you could just buy twist ties somewhere cheap. That’s what my bf showed me to organize my wires better and it’s been great! :)

I’d like to suggest swapping the rubbermaid/tupperwares for food storage with the less used kitchen items (chopper/processor). Just thought it would be easier when storing food and moving around that area.

I organize my clothes like you! From left to right: blazers and jackets, cardigans and sweaters, collared long-sleeve shirts, collarless long-sleeve shirts, collared short-sleeved, etc. down to spaghetti strap camisoles. I have stacked rods, so below those, I have all the dress pants, casual pants, midi skirts, and shorter skirts. Dresses and long coats are on a different (single and higher) rod and below them, my most used handbags. Within each category, items are organized by ROYGBV colors, but since I keep a wardrobe capsule and a personal color palette, everything looks extra harmonious. There's only black, gray, beige, white, reds, greens, blues, and purples. I wish I could say the rest of the house is equally organized...but it's not. My only "sustained systems" are in my spice drawer and the daily (capsule) wardrobe closet. I need to do a massive declutter before I can organize the rest!

We bought one of those plant litter boxes as well. However, I decided to do the pantry idea you shred on a previous video. I was just worried about the smell. I wound up getting a Litter Robot after watching a lot of reviews. It is the best litter box we have ever had. The plant box is now a cat bed.

I think we have the exact same design of kitchen cabinets. I could not ever find a way to organize my baking sheets and had them exactly like you have yours now. It was so frustrating! I love how you have organized your things! I wish I was as organized as you!

If it helps, we hung our cooling racks on the inside of the cabinet door with eye hooks, and the cookie sheets can go into the warming tray of our oven if you have one and don't use it for anything - that will give you most of the cabinet back.

What about taking the cookie sheet organizer and placing it on its side? Then it would hold the sheets horizontally and maybe they would tuck under the shelf? Easier to pull out from the front??

5:40 is my favorite part by far 😍 Why? Because all the houses I work in (I work in home health), plus my own home…..all have extremely unorganized spaces for pots and pans, and it just about drives me nuts. I love your organized system you’ve got going on!

I use to use small boxes, velvetta cheese boxes are great, to organize the drawers and am slowly changing them out for plastic ones. Yea, they can get expensive, but depending on what you are organizing the cardboard is great to start with.

I want to be this organized! I am more like Joey from friends, (I noticed your FRIENDS seasons in your DVDs) when he gives the tour of his apt to Phoebe and eventually Rachel after their apt fire...."Right here is where I keep the pizza (points) & thats where the napkin is (Points to the floor)"
