I love this, this is basically what I've done for a while, and I find it works so well, we do it a bit differently (in a different order) but the basic same idea. Thank you for sharing!
I feel what your saying about science and history! We used to do 2 days a week each etc...but then I felt like I had to review what we were talking about etc... so now we just do one science unit 5 days a week etc then do a unit of history for 5 days a week etc.. It usually takes like 2-3 weeks for us to.complete the unit anyways so I am glad to pour all the extras into the topic we are studying. It was too much for me to jump back and forth during the week. 😂
