You have a lovely eclectic collection of yarn! As someone who runs a business it only makes sense to buy more when things are on sale. I would love to see you work more with natural fibers next year. Acrylics are easy for beginners and inexpensive, but natural fibers are more wearer friendly in general (since acrylics/plastic doesn't really breathe). Thanks for a great year of videos and looking forward to your videos in 2022💚

I have over one closet from the floor to the ceiling full of yarn🙃 and I don't have any shame, I am proud of it and enjoy all the colours!😅 I study sewing and my main hobby has been knitting and crocheting for 15 years i guess. cotton yarn is definitely one of my favorites- premier makes a really good cotton that i buy from dollar tree when they have it, and caron makes really good softee cotton and the mandala cottons are even softer! they’re so nice as summery shirts, the cotton makes it so much more breathable
ive recently fallen in love with malibrigo yarn, for high end yarn its actually on the more affordable end! its so luxurious feeling, and the color ways are amazing 🤩
When I first stated crocheting I used wooden hooks and I think that’s why it took me so long to get the hang of it so glad i eventually switch to aluminum hooks!!

I literally just organized my yarn yesterday. I went a little wild on Black Friday and my yarn was just sitting in the bags and boxes it was delivered in 😬 I love the yarns from hobbi btw
@@itserinb I got the fluffy day yarn which is sooooo pretty. I’m going to make a fluffy cropped cardigan and I also picked up the amigo xl acrylic and the rainbow cotton. The cotton is actually really soft so I’m going to try to make some light weight vests and short sleeve sweaters 😍 so many projects so little time….
I need to seriously organize my whole yarn stash, it's really getting out of control! And I bought this yarn skein when I was in seattle and it costed me a pretty penny, but it was hand dyed and hand spun so of course it was expensive, it was so beautiful tho
i'm working on a crochet beanie made from some old black 4 weight yarn that was in my grandma's stash. she had a bunch of yarns from over the years and i got them when she passed away. so now i am slowly working through yarns that look like they are from the 90's!!!
I LOVE Lily Sugar and Cream yarn!! The first time I made a project out of it I made a mini drawstring pouch. I bought some more the other day and am planning on making a drawstring bag once I get all of my WIPs under control lol. Also, I LOVE Lion Brand's Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn too! I'm currently working on a scarf with it, and am planning on making a hat too! No judgement on the yarn stash either, we ALL have yarn addictions here! I have many boxes of yarn in my closet...👀

Apparently hobby is very controversial and their politics are sketchy. Politics aside I fucking love their yarn, it’s seriously unmatched and I can appreciate the yarn alone 🤍🤍
my yarn collection is massive. ha! but its all good if its going to be used up :) I have mine in closed cubbies but i do think i need to display them so i can see what i have and get that creativity flowing!
i always buy yarn from Action because it is soooo cheap and i am only 12 so i don't have any income but the yarn works good enough for me. and i am currently working on a cardigan
I just did a Boxing Day splurge. The online shop I use in the U.K. was doing 10 balls of velvet yarn for £12 instead of £28 like what a bargain…but I have no where to put it 😂

Nice little collection. Wish I would have kept mine little🙄. Now I have a 12' x 12' room full. It's all nice & organized. But if I crochet all day everyday until I die, there will still be an ass load left😂. Haven't bought any yarn in 2yrs, and haven't even made a dent in my hoard!!

I was informed by some of my subs a few months back that hobby is apparently not supportive of lgbtq communities, but I’m not sure if this is true or not because I tried looking into it and didn’t get any specific answers! Politics aside - hobby’s yarn is magnificent and the quality is unmatched. I do genuinely enjoy the yarn options and textures, they have so many selections that Joanna and michaels can’t compete with! 💓
It seems to have a lot more to do with the owner, David Green. David Green big time financial supporter of Evangelical organizations in America, so he speaks on his Christian values a lot. Those values do include not welcoming the LGBTQ+ community, but has also discussed women’s rights like access to abortion and doesn’t agree with the fact that women are entitled to abortions. I’ve also heard claims of racism, but haven’t been able to really find any. You can find all this by searching up David Green and you’ll find some of the controversial things he has said and supported. I don’t personally support Hobby Lobby and probably never will, but if that’s the only craft store you have in your area, I guess you have no choice. If you can find any local stores, thrift stores, also lots of online stores sell inexpensive yarn as well, I’d suggest to buy your yarn at those.
i worked at hobby lobby for about a month earlier this year and it was so awful lol that being said it's also the only craft store in my town aside from the stuff at walmart so unfortunately i still have to shop there if i need something! i'm glad you have the ability to shop elsewhere, they really are an awful company and i think everyone that achieves full time status there sells their soul because they r evil

Absolutely no judgement. I just had family and friends give me bins of old yarn they used for crafts throughout their life. Now I have to explain to everyone how it’s not like I bought all the skeins 😂
Don’t feel bad for collecting yarn I have my whole cube storage wall full! I also am a crochet hook collector, I buy so many furls & handmade hooks somebody needs to take my card away 🤣🤣🤣

I do the same. I think I could possibly make most people if not all people look good by comparison. My response to everyone is “see I can’t fit everything in one box, if the box is a whole house...” lol 😂
