That’s it!!! You’ve totally inspired me to give a spring cleaning/organizing to my sewing room, which is an absolute pit right now!!! Thank you and can’t wait to see your decorating!
Instead of a pegboard I have some magnet bars meant for knives or tools (thank you Harbor Freight) covered in fabric that are perfect for small scissors, tools etc by my sewing machines.
Thank you for your inspiration. I am heading into my craft room right now to declutter. I have been putting it off. Sometimes it’s too overwhelming. I’ve got this!!! I can do it!!!
Wow, you have done an amazing job!! You are so organized!! I would have been so overwhelmed, you should see my house!! Nightmare! That is my goal too!! Tackle one room at a time!! Thank you for sharing your process!!❤❤❤
Oh Emily! I love your craft room and all your lovelies! I'm into vintage sheets too! I'd love to see a video on how you fold them all so neatly some day! I absolutely LOVE The Sound of Music as well! When I taught prek, I played that record on your shelf at nap time and now my students message me every time they see on the TV! 💙 Love your vibe , your style and your spirit! 💕
Oh my gosh that’s so sweet you played the sound of music record to your students 😭😭😭😭😭 And thanks for the folding sheets suggestion. I’m thinking about doing a vintage sheet video at some point and that would be a great addition to it 😄
I'd love to see that video also! You are so inspiring and I too need to clean my craft room and fold some sheets! I'm so happy I found your channel. I just love it!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this video! I recently reorganized and purged all my fabric and crafting supplies and I'm still tired! I enjoy your honesty and your sense of humor. Being creative is alot of work and keeping stuff curated is exhausting for sure! I got some handy tips from your video so I will watch it again!
Oh wow, thank you for the rave review of the video 🥹 I honestly was a bit worried it would be boring so thanks for the feedback. Glad you got some tips 😄
Love this! I struggle with deciding which items to store in drawers and which to store on open shelves. I find that if I can’t see it I forget about it but on the other hand if everything is on open shelving it looks cluttered! 😂
Hahahaha I totally get the struggle! I put the items that I use the least in drawers. So items that I use for very specific projects, like if I want to use glitter I know where that is and don’t need it on display. Same with my vintage ads, I use those when I’m ready to do collage artwork. Other things, like my fabric, I want on display to inspire me ☺️ and I like a good “cluttered” looking craft room, as long as it’s actually not cluttered and you can walk around 😂
I love this! I Marie Kondo'd my whole house a few years ago which was amazing. I still need to do a refresh every once in a while :) It really does take such a weight off to see a freshly tidied space.
That’s so awesome you Marie Kondo’d your home!!! I’m going to be doing that this year 😄 I’m planning on going through each room and I’m really excited about it. Thanks for sharing you’re glad you did it ☺️
Wowwww, that is some power organizing!!! Nice work! (And good to see another messy creative storage space lol) I definitely have to go through and do big overhauls so I can use the space better, it’s a constant flow between useable/cramped
Do you actually iron all those pillowcases and sheets before you fold them? Did you ever do a video on how you fold them? Good job on the organization and downsizing!
