Good morning guys. The splitter is an awesome little tool if you don't have a whole lot of wood to split. The holes in the bottom of the floor plate allows for it to be bolted down. And if I had bolted it down to something a little higher than it would allow you not to have to bend over so far and not bounce. The video is just for demonstration. I didn't really have a place or log big enough that I could move around with the splitter screw down on it. But I do plan on having Daniel find me a log that I can screw the splitter down to then it will be ready to use anytime I want.
You may also try to get a heavier or bigger rubber mallet. I think it would split the wood easier because it would have more force against it? Idk😂 don’t listen to me. I’ve never split wood. Just watched it be done for years. But I love it. It would great for my son and his house. Thanks Kim❤
Norma here. I think that log splitter is just perfect for you. I’m sure it would be easier if it was bolted down and maybe raised a little, but all in all, I really like it.

Up here in Ky it’s bone chillin cold. Snow & ice this weekend along with more cold next week with 40-50mph winds … which will probably cause tree limbs to take down power lines. Lord help us! Hope your warmth comes back sooner than later!

That is a handy thing to have! You should get a pair of goggles to wear so you don’t get a splinter in your eye, just for added safety! Hopefully you had a great eat day!😘💙🥰
Nice job Kim. You got a good workout. We had the big one that the tractor would run. Saved a lot of work. Our 160+ year old farm house in NY was heated mainly with wood. My job was to keep the wood box full and hel split kindling. I also split kndling with a hachet on a big wood log section. I so appreciate my heaters now in AZ. Great review!
Hi Kim, that's pretty nifty. It would also be safer than using an axe. So far are Winter has been milder then normal and very little snow but January & February can be brutal at times. We shall see.❤&🙏
Morning Kim. What might help a bit more is if you find a log that's rounder then the splitter then screw it down onto it, It will bring it higher So u aren't beending over so much as well as it will keep the splitter From bunch g all over The place.

Could of used one of these whenI was young ansplitting wood .Might not hurt like I do now if had been less work that I did back then ! Almost makes me think of a boot puller 😂❤

But no shorts this time of year for me anyway. Anything below 70 I’m freezing 😂
Same way up here in Shreveport La. Its cold and suppose to be that for next few months. I'm a shorts and tank top person too. But its El Niko do its job. Habe a Blessed Day❤
It's a shame they couldn't fix the ring at the top to be adjustable to make it easier to utilize for different diameter logs. That would make it easierbto use and more versitile!😊
Hi Kim n Levi here in Queensland Australia at the moment we are in Summer and it’s hot and muggy and raining lot but in winter it doesn’t get that cold here north part of Queensland and the Northern Territory in winter times the days are like summer n nights are cold stay blessed sending love to you both
