I have notice that many of you are having trouble of the download link and being paranoid because this product is made from a China company . First of all, you can choose not to buy this product. Secondly, I downloaded the driver and installed it from the link that I provided with no virus and issues. If you still feeling unsafe, you can go search online RTL8761B driver and download it form the website that you trust.
hi Jacky! Does this bluetooth dongle support both audio input and output real-time? I have a bluetooth headset with mic, but most bluetooth dongles I see only support the output sound, not transmitting the sound from the headset's mic. hope you can help!
Although Windows 10 can't identify the device correctly to determine if its servers have the drivers, the fact is that they do have. Search google for "b48da772167f86f43decbd34edbd0849", then head to the github page on the results. There you'll find the link from Microsoft with the drivers. I don't post it here because youtube removes comments with links. Just copy the files from inside the .cab file to a new folder, open Device Manager, right click "Bluetooth Device", then "Update driver", then "Browser my computer for drivers" and select the folder with the files.
I have recently bought this Bluetooth adapter and after installing the manufacturer's drivers it stopped connecting. If any of you are having this issue, I recommend going under device manager and updating the Realtek driver that way
Thanks for the video. I've bought this product lately but realise a few flaws. - The latency is worse than the bluetooth that comes with my laptop. There's lip sync issues when watching YT video. - Audio quality is compressed (doesn't support aptX / HD codecs). This one should be expected considering the price. Verdict: It is indeed as the video said, the connection is more stable than my laptop's built-in bluetooth (v4.2), but if you want something for watching videos without audio delay, or if you want to get the best audio quality, this might not be the product you're looking for. Just to share my experience in case anyone else considering to to buy this.
Thanks very much. I purchased a Bluetooth receiver similar to this one from Amazon. It came with a driver CD and said it must be installed to worked. I tried it without and sure enough it didn't work. I haven't seen a CD drive on a PC or laptop in years so needed to find a working driver online. This did the trick. I imagine this driver will work with most generic brand Bluetooth receivers. Thanks again. Problem solved.

I thank you for the instructions. I made it differently (and more simple, I think): I openned the zip file, located the driver for Windows10 and updated the driver with the device manager. It has worked fine without the need of restarting the computer. I think Orico shoud provide a CD with the product driver , as other chinese manufactures do. A suggestion for you is to put the link for the driver in the beggining of the video description, because it is hidden when the user access it (it is necessary to click the buttom "Read More". I located the link in other websites because I was unable to find the link at first view of your video. Best Wishes!

Thanks to the link for driver. I bought just before one hour and can't "change to english" following instructions in papers inside package. Blietooth still doesn't work after driver install, but at least was cheap. Go back to my bluetooth 2.0 adapter from 2005 - it is slow, but works in my 1st PC win XP, my second PC win 7 and my third PC win 10. I do not know what I do wrong - orico 5.0 just can't find my smartphones the same way old 2.0 did.

Hey! Thanks for the video. I'm also considering Orico. Question tho, have you tried connecting multiple devices at once. For example: playing pc games using haylou GT1 as audio source and dualshock 4 for controls. Can't find any article online if this is gonna work.
According to one product website, the drivers also support XP and Vista. I have not verified that claim. It did not specify whether or not they supported both x86 and x64 on these two platforms as they do on Win7/8/10.
I downloaded drivers, when I run the setup and plug in Orico BTA-508 nothing happens, when I click OK, I'm receiving message that Bluetooth is not installed.
HI form Indonesia! I just got this USB bluetooth to connect my wireless headphone (DBE HBT80, nice audio btw) to connect to my PC. It was fine the day before but now sometimes it makes crackling sounds. Its fine when I use the headphone with my phone (Mi 8 pro). I already download and reinstall the BT driver twice but still the crackling problem. I'm wondering if u have any idea about this. THANKS! ;)

I had *horrendous* problems trying to download the driver from the official link. Eventually found a link that works and tried to put it in my comment, but RU-vid deletes my comment immediately if it has a link. YT censorship now is absurd. Hint: The link is in a Vietnamese language video about this product also on RU-vid.
I've installed the driver exactly the same as the video steps. At windows setting it says bluetooth is on and my pc is discoverable but when i try to add device it just infinitely searches for devices and can't find anything. I tested my earbuds on my laptop and android phone which has built-in bluetooth and they just work, so it's not the device problem. Any suggestion? I use windows 10 64 bit

Annoyed me that I had to install realtek drivers from a 3rd party zip file. While windows confirms its 5.1, it doesn't mean anything as its range is inferior to most bluetooth 4.x dongles other than that silly asus low profile one. Unless you have a real reason to use 5.1 features (most headsets etc don't) then it just isn't a very good solution. In fact its range is inferior to oricos own 4.x dongle.
Ya I agreed with you on the driver part, why can’t Windows auto detect and download drivers for us? I’m sure orico and Microsoft Windows can work it out. Thanks for your honest feedback on the product and I hope that orico can read your comments.
@@JackyYBT Yea, I'm only out 5 dollars so its not worth fussing a return, I'm back to using my old one for the time being as there is no upside to this one. Its the difference between being able to walk halfway across my house or being able to walk all the way to the other side. I also have an avantree dg60, but that one is more like a soundcard I use specifically for my nicer headsets for music, but it can only remember 3 set pairs.
My windows 10 will only show bluetooth when a device is plugged in and since it's detecting my BTA-sw01 as a speaker and not bluetooth when I went to install the drivers it would because no bluetooth was detected on my computer

If it’s using Bluetooth then it will be connected. I would say this is a good adapter for sound but not the best. You have to look out for better one but those will be more expensive. I don’t know which is the best.
Didnt work with my Sony wi c200. Connect but no sound. Worked with my cheaper headset so i think the "problem" is the sony one is 5.0 the cheaper one is 4.x.

My Gamesir G4 controller instantly connects to my Lenovo laptop, but my PC with the ORICO BTA-508 simply does not see the device. Tried reinstalling several times. Also no luck with the Asus USB-BT500 driver. Any clues why? I'm starting to think I have to return it.
Download Links don't work. Tried CN website and US Website. Found this video while hunting for the drivers. Nothing helped (Even tried from the phone. The file does not download using the Download Driver Buttons). Finally I typed in the URL (link to the file) in the address bar, and the approx. 75MB file started downloading. Here is the link. @@JackyYBT i just install it and after i unplug the USB the Bluetooth disconnect.. and i check the Device manager it's gone... but if i plug it again , yeah it shows again...
guys i setted up everything, i connected my beats studio 3 w my computer but the problem is i cant hear anything or use mic... my computer shows that its already connected w my headphone but nothing is working. What should i do ????
You go click the sound icon at the right side (date & time area) then you will see there are multiple of audio devices that you connect so you choose the beats studio 3, then you are good to go.
Is there a way to fix the audio sync issues? because when I connected a bluetooth device to the 5.0 bluetooth adapter, it takes a while to register. Any tips to make this registration faster?
Yup, link is dead or something... tried Save Link As... and started download but with some security message. Not a good feeling when installing software, especially downloaded from .cn
@@JackyYBT I tried all USB 3.0, USB 3.1 and 2.0 ports The computer detected the hardware but no device is detected by the Bluetooth adapter. Already tried troubleshooting and reinstalling drivers for a certain of times. Also I unexpectedly found a big amount of negative comments on some sites about rhe product
Ive been trying to do this all day but it just says "Realtek Bluetooth is not installed" and every time I plug in the adapter it says "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned and windows did not recognize it" Someone Please help me

Its just bad, so many 4.0 adapters have better range, and the new 5.0 adapters using the same chip but with a large external antenna cost only a little bit more at this point, and destroy this things range. The orico 508 is just looks above function.
