@@RickSanchez-qb6kb The Siamese and Oriental Shorthairs were originally from Thailand, but largely became a popular breed in the UK around the 1950's, the original Siamese had a rounder head and was called an "Apple Head" , the Wedge face with the larger ears came about 20 odd years later. These cats are very vocal, our two 17 year old Siamese are like foghorns.
Really like Keebler, he's so gorgeous. I also love his voice, he even sounds cute. I love his orange tiger coat. I'm a sucker for a cat, any cat. I have taken in all strays that comes to my door for years . I know Keebler is not a stray, he's a pure bred and I would love to have a cat like him, I know he would fit right in with the 5 cats I already have. Lucky you to have Keebler in your life.
Such beautiful cat's! 🤗 I've recently gotten my first oriental x bengal, he's very snuggly but my gosh is he gobby! He literally swing's from my dressing gown in the morning shouting loudly like the house is on fire + we need to all evacuate! He's such a drama queen when he wants feeding or attention, would love to have another oriental at some point, I absolutely love their big ear's + sassy attitude! 🤗
@@unmitigatedgall8732 beautiful but a pain in the butt! He's blue oriental shorthair x snowshoe bengal, very much a kiss you or kill you cat! There is no off switch! Lot's of energy + hard work training him, very high maintenance little lord, he is lovely though ☺️
@@randomquest11 I have a bengal/mainecoon. She's super dog like and demands my attention. She does talk a lot and tries to chirp at me. My other cat is part oriental and tabby. He likes to nap and eat and is super sensitive. He has separation anxiety and screeches trying to find myself or the other cat. I have to but him calming collars because he stresses out so easily. He is definitely more work.
@@professionallurker5996 , wow! Sounds like beautiful cat's! 🤗 Same thing here with the dog like behaviour, very active + need a lot of excercise, always sticking his nose into everything, has to know what's going on + always following, mine cries when the dog goes out to the loo, acts so dramatic like we've abandoned him 😆 bengals are lovely to watch growing up but you have to hide away all of your ornaments, put up non shred curtain's + wear a crash helmet when you sleep, they are crazy!
@@randomquest11 Hahaha. I get it. It feels like I am raising two furry toddlers. My oriental is unfortunately not the brightest bulb, but my bengal is very smart. The bengal loves to open cabinets to hide and nap in. I had to baby proof the bathroom sink. She also thinks it is a fun game to hide from her brother. He goes around looking for her and starts wailing when he can't find her. Poor thing is a dim bulb, so sometimes she is on the dining room chair and he never looks up. She finds it amusing and likes to happily swish her tail when she avoids him. They are weird. I love them, but I also enjoy the break I get from them when I go to work.
We live with Oriental Shorthair 3y - he copies human behaviour, constantly, sleeps 8h (head on pillow, body under blanket) between us, goes for toilet when we go, drinks when we drink, looks tv with us and also copies talking (anyway talks all day). Very polite character, not the smallest aggression, ideal for children as likes to play a lot. - These "cats" in fact are not really cats, but sth between cat, dog and human. I had a lot of difference cats in my life, European, Asian, domesticated ones and real wild ones (Bengal cat: he killed everything), but none is comparable to the polite and intelligent Oriental Sh.
Keebler, your job is to keep your humans hand-feeding you, getting them to pet you (on your terms, not theirs!) and just being adorable. That's your job description!
Oh my goodness! I just recently discovered this breed of cat, and I have become obsessed. Your little Keebler is beyond adorable! I love ALL your cats, but Keebler makes me giggle. You are such a wonderful mommy and these fur kiddos are very blessed. I'm sure you feel the same with them in your life. I'm deathly allergic to cats 😪 so I live vicariously through videos like this. Thank you for sharing your beautiful fur babies with us all. Godspeed.
