How good is this oriental rice! In reality it doesn't have a precise Asian recipe as a reference but in the steps in the combinations, in the ingredients it really is!
If you like to experiment, discover new tastes and go beyond the Italian gastronomic borders, this oriental rice recipe is for you!
To make this Asian dish you don't need to be a great chef: just get the ingredients that I leave you below and follow the step by step.
As I also explain in the video, the best rice to make this recipe is Jasmine because it has a long grain, perfect for this type of cooking and gives the dish an incredible aroma. If you can't find it, however, the basmati one will do just fine. As I always tell you, not all rice is the same and each variety has the most congenial cooking method for it.
However, what makes this dish very aromatic is undoubtedly the presence of curry and Chinese wine which are now found in all the best-stocked supermarkets.
I am sure that you will particularly like this recipe with rice and vegetables and if you want to turn it into a vegetarian recipe, just remove the prawn tails which can be replaced, for example, with eggs.
► Ingredients to prepare oriental-style rice:
Jasmine rice 300 g
Shrimp code 250 g
Cabbage 250 gr
Carrots 100 g
Green peppers 1 layer
Red peppers 1 layer
Garlic 1 clove
Curries 2 tbsp
Chinese wine 80ml
Seed oil 6 tbsp
