Whew! Exactly the info I needed. I am replacing everything in an old dump truck and needed to know where the orifice filter goes. Thanks a TON. I watched so many videos that didnt specify that.
Just remember when you put air in that system your put moisture in it too you better vacuum the s*** out of it you can get away with that in the car not your home unit or a commercial unit AC mechanic 25 years
My truck blows cold while driving, but when I stop it'll blow warm. The compressor constantly cycles on and off. Thats when it'll change from cold to hot air too. When I spray the condensor down with water it does get colder. I'm thinking its the condensor that needs to be replaced. Do you think it could be the orfice tube instead?
Your electric radiator fan resistor/relay has gone bad. It senses increased radiator heat at idle and turns on the electric fan to cause more flow through the condensor.
@@dbulley1919 thank you buddy I've been wasting so much money messing with air compressors trying to get that line but I need to make me a gadget like that too thank you buddy nice video stay blessed
There is a label on your car tells how many ounces to put in it the cans now are 12 oz your car will usually say 1 pound plus ounces if you got a car that's pretty old change accumulator and I'm going to tell you why there is a desiccant bag inside the accumulator the bags get old and can break then you got a real big mess nobody wants a screw up their compressor or get desiccant and plug it up make sure you put the orifice tube in correctly don't put it in backwards your pressures might not work mine didn't I got tired and wasn't paying attention and take it back out I'm a little under charge which is okay as long as you're compressor don't short cycle it won't short cycle at an idle it might while you're charging it but if you have gas in it it won't short cycling will burn up your clutch head pressure depends on the outside air temperature when it's 90° out head pressure 250 no more you should run about 40 pounds of suction
If you're low on gas it might not short cycle when car is at idle run it about a thousand RPMs if it doesn't short-cycle you're probably okay if you're low it will short cycle
