I've been following you here on RU-vid since i was like 9 years old! I'm now 19 and still obsessed with your calm and no non-sense videos. You stayed authentic thank you!
That moment when you feel like you made a hundred folds already and the video isn't even at half the time. :D This is my 2nd try doing this model. I really love the design.
i've been subscribed for a bit but took a break from making origami. i want you to know that this is the video that made me get back into it. awesome work as always!
Oi Sidney, tudo bem?
Hi Jo 👋 I've been watching you from a year, you are a mind blowing artist. I have a request if you don't mind can u make violinist tutorial. Please let me know 👍. Thanks 😊
Hey there! I’ve just finished making this and I remembered that I challenged myself to make a dragon last year but failed to, now I’m 13 and I retried it, and I finally succeeded!
So many petal folds on this one! I really struggled, but I got it right. It took a lot of patience. Every night I fold a new oragami model and leave it for my 4 year old son to find in the morning. Last night it was your v3 dragon. They take a long time for me to fold because I am new to oragami, but I am having fun and I find it very calming.
Growing up my parents couldn’t really afford the toys and gadgets I really wanted. So I remember watching your videos and making origami my toys. That was well over a decade ago. You truly made my creativity as a child blossom and I am happy to see you still regularly upload. Thank you for all the memories jo nakashima
I'm really wondering how they design these... "Okay I'm just going to do a double mountain fold upside down 360 frontflip nosegrab valley fold and there we go, it makes the shape I wanted"
Thank you for the slow movements and clear camera angles. I folded one chameleon and it is recognizable. Some of my folds were a little off, but I did not know that until I was folding on the other side. After a little break, I will make another. Since this was challenging, I have hope that I can again try some of my past unsuccessful origami projects. Update: I folded a second chameleon. It was easier, but I made new mistakes.
@@HontubeYT oooh sorry, I was replying other comments about the beginning, I didn't notice the timestamp of yours was different! Make the creases at 15:05 and 15:35 very sharply. At 16:47 just use theses lines to fold both layers together to make the lock.
wow this chameleon is insanity but you are incredible thanks for giving us this amazing origamis. All are so epic congratulations on your work champ :)
Dang! This is epic but first i need to make the origami Hercules beetle and regular beetle to match with my spider. I will definitely do this model after. These models are epic! Thank you very much Mr.Nakashima!
I can't get the step at 6:00 done. Only by luck for one side. There should be a video where you can see the model from all sides and in slow motion for this step.
iv been following ur vids for about 2 months and im lovin it! iv managed to do every intermediate tutorials and some complex ones. anyways keep up the good work!
@@jonakashima actually jo, you are the best of bests and iv tried many other origami channels and they suck.only you and your well explained tutorials are the best.❤👏👏👏👏👏
Qué maravilla, yo tengo 3 años que me suscribí a este canal y he logrado hacer figuras complicadas, pero si el video dura 30 minutos yo lo hago en hora y media 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you Mr. Nakashima. I can see that many other people have had their childhood with you and now I can spend my childhood folding too! I love this model! Thank you!
I can't do it, it's sad, I tried 2 times but nothing ... it's slow, I can't on this chameleon. :( It's because I don't have that green and yellow leaf, I'm a failure 😓
Are you a farseer, or something? Because I just looked for a good origami chameleon tutorial in the few past days! 😁 It's not hard to fold and looks pretty nice, so many thanks, my man! 🦎
As much as I admire how delicate and crafty these figures look and are - and maybe I'm just not that good at origami even though I'm always very thorough and exact when folding the paper - but at some point it has nothing to do with folding anymore. It's just fumbling some edge somewhere. Too many unnessecary folds that only make the paper break and in the end the figure looks all trashy. I've wasted two sheets of expensive origami paper on this guy. Honestly, I gave up at 21:30. The paper is way too thick at that point to tuck in anything anywhere. Seriously, viewers! Don't do this, if you get frustrated easily! And if you have to do this, use thin paper! Original origami paper is way too thick for this.
