Here are the instructions to make version 2 of the origami gatefold box, this box includes a cool lock to keep it shut. This box is pretty easy to make! ♥

I hope you will like version 2, which is very similar but with different dimensions, instead of quarters, the box it a masu using thirds.

Original Design: Giovanni Maltagliatti (box)
Y O U - W I L L - N E E D ▶
The box:
1 sheet of square paper.
Mine is 20.8 x 20.8 cm.
The Lock:
1 square sheet of paper-
To get the size, divide your larger paper by 2.12 (more info in video description). (Mine would be 9.8 cm)
If you start with 15 x 15 cm for the box, your smaller paper for the lock will need to be 7 cm

I completed the box part easily, but the lock however was not successful. I've had several attempts and can't make it. I get suck at 10:52 So I'm sad now... :'(

The mute button is My friend for this video that's for sure. Some youtube videos were meant to be silent movies...this is a perfect example of a movie that should have no sound.

+nitromav the box itself is made from one sheet, the lock is a separate model, if you used thick textured paper for the box, it would stay shut without it. :)
